Room For Rent in Saint Petersburg

If anyone is going to St. Pet and would like to avoid the high cost of Hotels
I can recommend a much more reasonable alternative.

My M.I.L. lives in a two bedroom flat (not far from a metro stop) and
has decided to rent out her spare room to guys or couples  traveling there or meeting there.
Everyone knows St. Pet is the ultimate city to visit in the FSU but it doesn't have to be so expensive if you avoid the high cost of Hotels an eateries.

Stay with my M.I.L. and use her kitchen (clean your own dishes).

Her spare room has New wall paper and cable TV.

Over all it's an average apartment like real Russians live in, not updated to western standards (but at 40 or 50 a night your not going to get the Winter Palace).
When I travel 2 places, I am usually out seeing and doing things so, the last thing I want to do is splurge on a hotel just to sleep. And if you are the same way, this might be ideal for you.

She might be able to meet you at the Airport to help you get a taxi or bus.

Even though she tries... her English is very limited. (a pocket dictionary should help).

I hope this does not break any TOS, I get nothing out of this, it's just a way for My M.I.L. to cope with the rising prices for food etc.
