For the Techies RE ICQ question

Does anyone know how the ICQ numbers are assigned. Does a certain country start with a certain number? Any rhyme or reason to assigning these numbers?

I use ICQ and ICQ video call to stay in contact with my girlfriend.  To my knowledge, there's no pattern to the assigned numbers.  I think it just has something to do with when you joined.

I haven't used ICQ in quite a few years but when I did it was in numerical order i.e. the first person to join was #1 the second was #2 ect. There were so many joining at the time I did that if you signed up two accounts back to back there would at least be a couple of hundred account numbers different. Of course it may be different now.
