Christmas Gift

Hell Everyone. What kind of gift do you plan to buy for your wife/fiancee/girlfriend.

I hope my question is not to intrusive.

My wife enjoys MONEY. I noticed when I was in Siberia, several years ago, for one of her birthdays, that all of her family gave her Rubles. I was kind of shocked at first.

I was raised to believe that a cash gift was kind of impersonal, but now I understand that our cultures are different.

I take them winter clothes shopping.  Tell them up front how much they can spend. 

Than I surprise them with a personal gift as well on Christmas, New Year eve, Russian January holidays too.

I find the gifts that cost nothing but have a personal touch are really worth more.  But I like my lady to have very nice clothes and she tends to feel more comfortbale if I shop with her when were spending money.  Previous girlfriend was same way.  I find women in Ukraine like the man to shop with them and not just give them money.  In America was the opposite - give them money and they shop alone.
