I thought I'd start up a topic to collect the proverbs, sayings, expressions, etc. applicable to RWD themes ;). Already much used here:
"If it looks too good to be true, it is"
"Think with your BIG head, not the SMALL one"
"If it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck, it IS a duck"
"Beauty is in the eye of the beholder"

Contributions are welcome in any language. My own is a not-too-encouraging old Italian proverb:
"Moglie e buoi
dei paesi tuoi"
"Wife and oxen from your own area only", its antiquity evidenced by the two juxtaposed types of mammals, although cattle was probably used mostly for rhyming reasons ;D.
