Hello all,

I've been 'lurking' here for awhile and figured it was time to register, say 'Hi', and 'thank you' those of you who have shared your experiences and advice in the forums. 

A little about me, I live in Northern Virginia, work for one of the 'Big Three' DOD contractors, and have shared custody of a 4yr old child.  I am currently going through a divorce, not my idea, but after 18 months am hoping it will be over soon so I can get on with my life.  I have been exchanging letters with a couple of ladies in the FSU for a couple of months and am seriously considering a trip over there sometime this year. 

Looking forward to chatting with others here and learning as much as I can about relationships with Russian women.

That is very good advice indeed.  I am certainly not in any hurry, and with the big 'five oh' coming up soon, hope I've matured  enough over the years to do exactly what you suggest.

That was the first thing I did when I stumbled across this site, and one of the reasons I came back.  And, I'm trying to follow those rules 'religiously'...

Mcjnva, sometimes it is hard.  I started this venture before RWD existed, and made the mistakes of infatuation with a picture and a voice before meeting.  I also used bad agencies like con connections, and make the mistake of sending gifts to girls I had not met.  Hopefully, others can learn from the  mistakes made.

For me, it all turned out right, but only after I got my act together.
