Perfumes in a parcel

Hi, everybody, I have been out of the forum for a while.
I've moved to Canada from Ukraine. And was very dissapointed to get know that you can not send any perfumes out by mail! (Yes, I got know it after I bought a perfume to my dad's birthday occassion). That perfumes are considered to be an explosive stuff...
Well, how then people bring them overseas by air in their luggage? Crazy!
I still want one unique perfume from Ukraine (I can not see it for sale in North America).
Did you send any perfumes overseas? What mail service have you used?

I'm sure Canada is a great place for a Russian or a Ukranian, the weather is COLD just like back home.

Look, Marina and I have shipped all kinds of "items" back to Russia and to some of her friends here in the GoodOl' USA.

I am going to plead the 5th on what the "materials" were, but suffice to say, we were not "completely" honest with the Post Office when we answered their questionnaire.

Yes I understand. One time I sent a watch to Ukraine and I don't know why the postal emplyee wrote clock on the customs forms, later I heard you cannot send a watch to Ukraine because its considered Jewelry
