I have not been able to chime in too much lately because my wife gave birth to our baby girl Sophia Brielle this past Sunday :D.  She is a healthy well adjusted baby who luckily resembles her mother.

As you family guys know, the first few days neither one of us got much sleep and I was worried as anything the week proceeding the delivery.   My wife did not even have an epidural and everything went well naturally.  Things are stabilizing well now on the home front.  Mom is doing well and I am trying to support her as best I can :clapping:.

Congratulation :)

About sleep, you life is fully changed now... in the first time, you will not sleep a lot because a baby need to be feeding at regular time ( i hope that you will share these task with your wife in the measure of your possibility )... later, you will not sleep when your child will know his minor illness like all child... and more later, you will not sleep and worry when the child become slowly adult...

It can seem a heavy task for some, you go use a lot of energy but it is nothing when compare to the reward, having grow up a child to a succefull and good adult... My several year with our little Anastasia was the best of my life... it is one of the reason i don't hate my ex-wife... she have give me the opportunity to be a good father...

Bruce, a new life is open to you, not always easy but it is the begin of the best part of you life... Again, congratulation.

Guys, my wife does not like me posting photos on boards.  If you PM me the email you want photos sent to, I'll individually send you kodakgallery photos from the shots I took within four hours of her birth.
