Russian Women Are Whacked

Listen my brothers and I will tell you my tale of woe.   I met a beautiful Russian woman 3 months ago in the USA and after I spent some time with her I am convinced she's the woman for me. 

I invested a lot of time in this woman and some expense.   I don't really care about the money.  It's lost and gone.   What hurts me is after spending so much time with her and thinking she cares for me she shows me quickly that she isn't the woman I thought she was. 

We had some difficulties with language but I worked with her on her English.  I would have done more if she would have asked me.

I was a gentleman with her.  I accomodated her needs and desires.  I listened to her and all that she said.  I thought I had at last found a truly wonderful woman.  She made me smile and laugh when I talked with her.  It's not something every woman can do for me.

What I discovered about this woman and many women like her is that while you think they are being affectionate and like you a lot and maybe more, there is a cold calculating mind at work behind the scenes.   They care nothing about your feelings.  Only their feelings have any importance.

I would beware my brothers before you invest too much time in these women.  They are unworthy of your affection and potential for love.   They will trample on your heart if you allow it.   Be very careful before you invest too much time and attention in any of these Russian women.  Most of them are not worthy of it I suspect.

Sorry it did not work out.  Most RW, particularly the older ones, have been through a wringer that would devastate the average AW.  Out of necessity, RW are survivors and skeptics.    Some seem permanently calloused, as independent and tough as an alley cat.  Single, older RW here are perhaps driven by money (a guess, I have no info).  Nevertheless, in Russia there are some really sweet models full of love and wanting a man.

I suggest that you consider looking in Russia now that you have had a taste.  Not all that you experienced was bad.

Sorry you lost this dream, HS. It happens more often than not.

First, I don't know exactly what you meant by accommodating, but the first rule of thumb is never ever, EVER be a "yes" man.  That's a ticket to disaster most if not every time because she will not respect you, and without respect she will leave you.

Second highlight.. um, that's absolutely true about every man or woman who chooses to leave a situation from the other's perspective, isn't it?  Think about it. 

You are still alive. She didn't kill you. So learn from the mistakes you made (if you ponder it with an open mind, you'll find a lot more useful information in the mirror than you will by casting blame), clear your head, and then continue your search with the new perspective you'll gain.

I agree with Gator's suggestion to head over the pond.  One or Two or Three or Ten bad women doesn't make the entire population suspect. Just be much more selective and slower to jump.

Sorry to hear of your unhappy result concerning you and your lady.

However, you paint a broad stroke with that brush stating all R/U women are whacked. Lets face it, any relationship today is tough. International relationships are all the much more difficult with all of the additional roadblocks that are put in place.

I am heading to Dneptroptvosk next week to become engaged to my lady. I am definately the exception to the rule as I found my keeper right out of the block. I wouldn't change a thing. I know I am one lucky guy!!!!!

As others have noted, this is a broad generalization. Not all RW are as you describe, and my wife certainly does not fit your description. I am sorry to hear that things did not work out, but the important thing is to learn from the experience. I hate to say I told you so, but the warning signs were there. I've done some reading about Russian women and there are some differences from American women.   In Russia, public displays of affection (PDA) are not as common as in the US.   My Russian woman is much more apprehensive about people looking than most American women would be but she's very affectionate with me.   We hug, hold hands, and kiss when we think no one is looking.

Here we go again. How many times over the years has a bright-eyed, bushy-tailed guy arrived here after "discovering" RW, full of praise and assurance at how amazing his particular example is. Then he confesses to a slight concern, usually about his wonderful girl's lack of affection for him, which he brushes off as cultural differences and refuses to listen to anyone who points out the obvious.
