I was just reading about the deer hunting, and I saw that they charge you 50 if you miss one. I never heard of that before, but I like it. It likely encourages people not to rush the shot and risk just wounding an animal.

I have never been hunting, I don't know if I will be able to shoot, maybe only if I will be starving and will not have any other choice, though I'm not a vegetarian. I love meat

Thank you, groovlstk. That kind of hunting became my hobby since I came to live close to Mother Nature.

I just read today that Kodak decided to stop producing Kodachrome film.

In a park within the city limits of Moscow (just inside the fourth ring) my wife and kids would at times see a moose at the edge of the forest.  I think I saw such one time while driving past the park on the way to the airport, but moving too fast to confirm.

The only confirmed wildlife I saw in my walks other than a city sparrow and pigeon was the odd rat, and very large ones. In winter time, they grew a thick coat of fur which made them look as if they weighed more than a kilo.
