He could send her to W.U. a few times on a goose chase.

he can also tell her that it is required by W.U. to have her real home address that matches her passport and a copy of her passport. Then he can pass that information to interpol and W.U. and then have her go "pick up the money" and hopefully the cops will be waiting for her/it.

I do hope he submits her scam to delphi.

I won't be wasting no more time on this one.  Planning my trip to Kazan, with a real lady.  Which I'll be meeting the first part of September.  I agree, puke on that shower one.  I'll post her on the scam sites.
Feel free to pm me, if have any advice, questions, or anything else.

Just add my five cents. Absolutely normal women ask to help out with travel costs, nothing wrong with it. If a guy can get her a ticket online, that is fine but train tickets in Russia it's hard/impossible to book online, so I do not see anything unusual/bad in her request. Her shower detail was funny:) I feel a little sorry for her but maybe she really thinks it sounds sexy. Probably for a different type of guy it would work.

Sweatpea.. we investigated the letter of the lady and the technology behind her letter.  We were able through a variety of ways identify her as a scammer with a long "resume" of scam attempts over an extended period of time.  After four years of corresponding with Russian speaking women I never had even one REAL woman write to me in such a way.

Well, maybe...but really she only used the sexy talk and asked to pay for her local tickets. Nothing more, right?
If you read Elena's Models recomendations for women about how to take  photos to be "sexier" for men, wearing next to nothing and to use sexy language in letters...and poor women do believe it's a right thing to do to attract a great man...They just do not know better...

I realise that I am getting in late in the game, but Phantom mentioned he was using toplop.

I thought we were supposed to avoid using pay per letter services.  Is there a hard fast rule on this or does it vary by agency/site?

the hard fast rule is that a pay per letter service has a vested interest in receiving pay for letters and not a vested interest in seeing happy couples leave the site, continuing relations on their own without further need of the agency's vested interest.

There are legit agencies which offer translation as a service... which is likely their primary bread and butter.

I think a good rule is to be very skeptical of any site or service which imposes itself and does not offer direct contact as an option.  And even then it's a tough call until one builds enough experience in this to recognize very quickly when "somethin' ain't right here".   it's kinda like growing a 6th, 7th, and 8th senses in a way.. the FSU Scam detectors... multiple ways to fleece the ignorant

I'd say the latter, but NOT as far as TopLop is concerned.

Although TopLop states they encourage the exchange of personal information, that IMO is a ruse because most if not all the letters you receive are agency-written: I asked several of the women who wrote me through them to switch to direct correspondence, but they all came up with excuses for not doing so 8).

The most absurd and revealing case was that of one who stated in her profile that she knew Italian, and never wrote ONE word in it despite my entreaties :-\.

I understand your confusion Sweetpea, but, it can be very confusing for us men, especially when we get letters in our email box that do not come from legitimate sources.  In many cases it is exactly these letters that lead men to this forum because what they see seems too good to be true, and, usually is.  You will also learn that many ladies would never even consider asking a stranger to pay for anything.  My GF refused money to travel from Siberia to Moscow to meet me, she never asked, I offered and she still refused.

In the information you noted about Elenas, do you really think such a suggestion is given as a benefit to the ladies or to generate more letters on the site?

ST.. why pay for what you can get for free?  there are so many alternate sources now, unless you are too busy or too timid to do it yourself there is just no reason to use an agency or a site that requires payment.

I can tell you right now one fellow that followed this advice is having a lot of luck finding FSUW already here in the US, real women with no agenda except to meet a good man, some are here on work travel visas.

Sandro,

I didn't open her letter on TopLop, as right in the subject, was her email address.  So, I took a chance and wrote her.  After the letter about the trip help (which some say is normal) and me sending her the money WU, I just wrote her off, as I'm preparing to meet the lady in Kazan.  (Sweetpea, on women taking sexy pics, the one in Kazan, has shown me her new Bikini, wearing it.  :D) I was introduced to this lady, not met through an agency.  We've been having good communication and now are planning our meeting.

But, sorry, off track.  The girl in Ukraine, wrote me after a few days of not hearing from me, asking me if she had done something wrong, as I have not written her.  I don't know what her thought process was, as she sent the same letter, 5 mimutes later.
Feel free to pm me, if have any advice, questions, or anything else.

when you didn't reply, she double sent the next letter in an attempt to make sure you did receive it, in case the prior one to which you did not respond didn't make it.  That's not really a big deal really unless it had your name swapped out in the second letter for another "Dear Jackass"  8)  8)

Daveman, that makes sense.  I was the only "Dear Jackass" anyway.  So, not having any time or willingness to fool around with her, I sent her a letter, telling her about such women looking for money and she struck me as that, especially talking about love, etc.  So, me and the lady in Kazan, started making plans for our meeting, as the lady in UA, slipped from my mind.

Then, she sends me another letter, asking me when we could meet.  She, as a nurse, don't make a lot, but can save her money for her travel, as long as we meet, it will be fine.

I told her my impressions of her, and then she does this.  Is she dense or think I am?  I could be.  But, not likely with this.
Feel free to pm me, if have any advice, questions, or anything else.
