From the people I have talked to the UAE is usually looked on as a place to go and earn money entertaining people.  This can be everything from massages with happy endings to hosting at night clubs or exclusive restaurants where guys with money like looking at pretty ladies.

UAE is investing a lot of money to become the main tourist spot in the Middle East. I'm sure they did a lot of advertising in many countries to lure people there. Probably made deals with travel agents to make things affordable for people. Attracting beautiful ladies and getting them on the beaches there is a smart business move IMO.

there were travel ads for UAE all over Moscow and Odessa...

If you know where to look you can find ads for "hostess" jobs in UAE.. there are many.

I have heard that some will go there for two weeks and make enough to live the next 6 months.. same as they do in DR.

HOWEVER!  That is not written in stone.  No visa entry.. nice beaches.. good shopping.. it is entirely possible there is a segment that is travelling there with no nefarious implications.

I go to Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Dubai, and Qatar for work.  I would only recommend Dubai for vacation and it is not a bad toursit area, however, the high priced RW hookers are in force there.  Turkey and Egypt have more going on in the tourism front than Dubai.  I would recommend Dubai as a 2-3 day stop before going to Maldives.  More than 3 days in Dubai can get boring fast for most women unless your into expensive shopping trips.

She may have, a couple years ago, it's looking that way. Or she might be doing so now and getting into scamming. It may also be I don't know SHIT. But I am getting a lot of red flags and I would like to clear them up. If I can I'll start planning a trip to visit her. If not then I move on.

Hey thanks. That kind of crap is really disgusting. But i think she was on of the willing participants. It no longer matters as she is now sending me canned emails without reading my "GoodBye" letters :)

LOL, I added everything after the original post. MM actually found that link and PM'd me with it. He saved me a lot of time by doing that.
