Well, I did have 20 something year old hotties throwing their panties at me, sometimes a bra or two would fly through the air as well... all well after I turned 40.. but I do have to say, they were very mature looking panties!  Might have had more to do with loud guitars and alcohol... and less to do with marriage..  

I think BC has a point too with the RW bug.  I admit it bit me.  Left a hell of a whelp of my ass a few times too.  I wonder though, how many reasonable local opportunities I missed because of the bug?  Guess I'll never know...

Depends how you define damage. I will echo what others have noted that FSU women are likely to have just as much baggage (if not more).

I know that to be true. I'm not exactly sure what you're saying here Misha. I've seen FSUW with ample baggage first hand. Loads of it. My point was the selection of of ladies with considerably less baggage comparable to AW, I find comforting. Baggage is a universal thing IMO

Here is another factor that I expect to be at play. An American or Canadian man meets an American woman or Canadian woman. As they share the same mother tongue, the woman is likely to unpack some of that baggage in the days and weeks after their first meeting. Many times, I would wager it will be unpacked on the first date. When meeting a Russian woman, she is not likely to have the language skills to be able to really unload all that she is hauling and will keep it all in. It will likely take weeks and months after she moves to her new home before it comes out, but eventually it will.

I agree, Misha. And this goes for many other things besides "baggage". I've heard too many stories how " She changed once she came to America!"
People don't change just because they cross the border. Usually a guy just didn't get to know the woman he married on a deeper level because of the language and cultural barrier and because of his own preconceptions about how "RW are". People don't change when it comes to their core values IMO.

Another one of the myths and the number four reason men justify looking to the FSU: undamaged women without baggage. LMAO off!!!! Frequently FSUW carry much more "baggage" than there AW counterparts. Many are severly damaged from disfunctional father figures the likes of which you find appearing on Jerry Springer. Why do FSUW appear to have less baggage than AW? Let me think for a moment.....perhaps it's becuase she doesn't speak your language???? Maybe she's just wearing a mask until the green card comes in the mail?

I can easily agree with this......adding in the the fact that once RWs get in their 30s and still single, there's a bit of desperation to find a man or hell will soon freeze over. At 40...hell has frozen over!
