Resqu ~ If one were to describe the agency business as being honest and filled with people of good intent, it would be incorrect. If one were to characterise all the women in agencies as being princesses waiting for their prince, that too would be wrong.

If one is aware that it is a dirty business, filled with dirty people, selling a dirty product - but that there are, hidden away, some good people, with good intent and some decent women, then that is a realistic and sensible starting point. Kinda like buying a horse or a second hand car. If one assumes that the horse or car has faults and looks for the faults in every example, then one can hope to find the good car, or horse. If one assumes that all cars and horses are inherently good, then one WILL end up with a bad car, or horse on almsot every occasion.

So, as a guy who has bought and sold a few cars and horses, should I as a guy of honest intent tell you to assume that all cars and horses are good and flawless? Or should I tell you that all cars and horses are flawed?
I know that I can more easily trust the guy who warns me to look out than the guy who tries to tell me not to bother.

So, I will continue to tell guys that the teeth on every horse are bad and that the cylinder head gasket one very car is blown becasue I know that ONLY by looking for these flaws can one find the horse with good teeth.

Damien I am interested in the case of JustPlaneCrazy. You told him the lady he was writing is a scammer, yet you offer to check it out again ? Is there a chance that the info you sent him was based on something you might doubt ?

As far as reactions go, things are very simple. If you tell a woman you checked her address and it came up false that is most probably the end of a pen-pal relation. No matter if the woman is a scammer or not.

I told him as a chance to check again free of charge because he still had doubts: our agents checked the address. In some cases scammers would come up with a second (new) address and we would carry out another check. In some cases this new address is in a different city... I wanted JustPlaneCrazy to see that the game scammer played went on... so he himself would realize that he is being scammed. He knew this, but he wanted to be sure.
We ourselves can only check address, can not know for sure who is a scammer or who is not, but signs pointed to YES here.
We are not detectives as Andrew stated many times: we are simply service that helps you to make your own judgement call and suggest our opinion. So the price reflects that this is an opinion, not a detective's decision.
