For as long as I can remember I've always been attracted by foreign women. Especially those from the ex CIS countries. Now I would like to register to a good agency, but which one? I fear I have been scammed by NatashaClub lately and now I want to find a real agency who won't charge me thousand of dollars simply to read letters. I am thinking about A Foreign Affair? What you guys are thinking?

Welcome TheBlackCat! First time posters needing some info or suggestions usually describe themselves with a little more information that you have here. You probably have been scammed by NC and will be with AFA most likely. I would suggest ElenasModels. It's not an agency per se' as much as an introduction site. Some guys find it a little pricey to join but those same guys have already spent hundreds on NC or Globalladies or a host of others. I was pleased with EM and their modus operandi. Theres good sincere ladies there and you don't get the "cha ching" every time you want to read a letter.

You are right. Here let me tell you all about myself. I am a french canadian living in Quebec City. I am 42 years old, never married by choice, without children and a Lexus consultant. So yes I make a good income but I am not a millionaire either. Sometimes I wonder if these ladies there are more looking for an extremely wealthy man or so? I have many customers I could introduce them to though... lol

I have been through many relationships with women from here but really I never had that magic sparks like when I was in college dating this wonderful foreign woman. I want to find that again. I want an educated, intelligent, clever woman who won't want to be a house sitting maid staying at home just looking at the television all day long... lol So that's the main reason why I am looking in this part of the world.

I have never been there too. I am planning to go next summer though. Will it be Russia, Ukraine? I don't know yet. I thought I had found some interesting women on NatashaClub but after $700 spent I realized it made just no sense at all. lol God I feel so stupid now! lol

My main hobby for those it may interest is training at the gym with my bodybuilder trainer. I began going to the gym a year ago and really I never thought I would enjoy it as I do.

 This is more easy to travel to Ukraine (no visa required).  You don't tell if you want children or no, if no, it will be a lot more difficult for you, the majority of women wants to build a family. If yes, you will have no difficulties to meet someone in the 26-33 years old bracket.

You should know that immigration procedure in Quebec is more slow than for Canada. To resume the procedure, you must marry in Ukraine, start the procedure with Mississauga, one time they approve it, you must send paper to get "certificat de selection du Quebec" for your wife, this paper must be sent to Ukraine ...and the embassy will proceed your request only at this time.

Thanks everyone for your help. I see this will be a very helpful site. I already like it. I already registered and paid for a two months platinum membership at Elena's Models following the advice of Faux Pas.

My profile is still pending so they can't see me yet. I've sent two short interest messages to two russian ladies yet both said thank you but no thanks. lol I understand since they can't see me yet but they can see what is written on my profile. They must think I am such fat guy with my weight but it's all muscles. lol I didn't realized they couldn't see my pics before sending the messages. Anyway it's their loss. I don't really care.

Now going back to NatashaClub my profile is still on there. So guess what? Of course I am still getting tons of messages and these little smiles. What I find kind of sad is there is one particularly from St. Petersburg that I was beginning to like a lot. She is 33 years old. I always ignored messages from little girls and those under 28 years old. I am wise enough to understand that at 42 getting married with a 20 year old would almost certainly end up with a divorce.

Now I've tested Olga, the one I just wrote about, in telling her about how it would be fun to go in St. Petersburg and going shopping together among others. I wanted to see if she was a bit of a gold digger. I am a generous kind of guy and I know I would probably end up buying her a little something if I were to meet her. Anyway she replied it is nice to know a man is financialy secure but really what's important for her it is the connection, the love for each other.

Then I ask her about what she's thinking if I were to pay for her contact informations instead of writing through NatashaClub. She answers back that if I prefer I could, that it is sad I must pay to get her infos but that it will be very hard for her as she needs a translator for her letters. She also says anyway we'll find a way to communicate if we want each other.

Well now I am totally mixed up. I really like her a lot... but I can't stand NatashaClub anymore. I know I should move on but I am still drawn back to her. By the way, none of her pictures are half naked or trying to show her breasts like the vast majority on that site. I feel she may be honest and I could really miss on her just because she's on that site. That's probably why I don't really care about these two other russian women from Elena's Models.

God I am so mixed up now. I don't know what to do. I'll probably end up paying for these infos and may again end up being scammed by that shitty site.

I don't have any problems for having children with the RIGHT woman. I also could end up with a woman who already has her own children. I thought I may be a bit too old at 42 for having babies so it is why I was thinking I would maybe end up with a woman who already has one or two. I already have been in a relationship with a woman from here who already had two little girls so it is not a problem for me.

I just felt it was kind of cheap almost $300 for unlimited access compared with $700 for two weeks at NatashaClub.  I didn't realized I was at $700. You know I kept writing to some women before finding one I really connected with then a little $100 there, another $100, then another $100... lol

in any case, the best (I think) is to select one city and to select around 20 women, write to them and tell them you will be there within 3 months. You will narrow your selection before your travel and will meet one but will keep address of others if things does not work like planned. Don't lose your time with scammer, etc. Select only woman you really like, do no compromise in the selection process (in any case you will have to do them when you will be married ..). Select only women who can speak at least little english (or french) and with who you can talk before travel (skype is perfect with a webcam or skypeout to cellphone). SMS are working well too and are not expensive. Do not fall in love with a letter or a photo...

One letter I wrote to one coworker who asked me advise before traveling to meet one woman:

prompt est un logiciel de traduction, pas parfait mais qui peut aider
si son niveau d'anglais est vraiment tres faible.

- Prend des photos de vous deux et si a l'issue du sejour tu penses
que cela peut aller plus loin, gardez tous les deux les tickets,
photos, etc Cela servira pour documenter plus tard la relation avec
Immigration Canada.

- Cote mode, il y en a certaine qui ont des gouts discutables...

- Sois toujours galant, complimente la sans tomber dans la flatterie,
mais c'est tres important pour elle...

- Si tu la trouve belle dis lui. en Russe, c'est Tei Kraciva (teill
craciva pour la prononciation)

Add to that, hundreds of texts and dozens of phone calls. Right from the start in your first letter, I would notify all woman that you are writing to, that you are serious about meeting 'The Right Woman'. Remember, you are competing with dozens, if not hundreds of other men. Your first letter must make an impression on her..... and nice photos too! Proving to her that you are seriously searching for a wife and not simply playing the 'keyboard romeo' is paramount to getting her attention. I will used english here so everybody will understand. I was looking for next july to go to Ukraine or Russia. I have had already many weeks off from work before deciding to register to that site. I had it on my mind for a very long time but decided only two weeks ago while I was exactly on vacation. Now I must leave the chance to my colleagues to take some vacation too so it won't be possible for me to go until at the very least this winter. Then during winter isn't really the best of time temperature wise to go there so that's why I thought july or august and it is mainly because of my work at Lexus.

I made it clear to everyone I contacted so far this is what I wanted to do. They all wanted to stay in touch with me. When I say something I do it and it's official I will go next summer. It cannot be during spring as with my job it is the big season for selling cars. Peoples are often waiting for winter to be over to get a new car. Nobody are allowed vacations during that period anyway.

Maybe I should wait for next spring before beginning my search too. I understand, what 11 months before a meeting, is a very long delay. But they all wanted to stay in touch anyway. Of course it was on NatashaClub... LOL

Letter translated:

- One more time, tell her that the more important is communication, and if she is annoyed by something, she should tell it to you asap without being affraid to make you angry. Majority of misunderstanding have for roots the difference of language.

- At the restaurant, always one bill for you (it is cultural, a woman with a man will never pay for the restaurant)

Hello TheBlackCat, and welcome to the forum.  I don't understand why you are teasing this woman.  Unless you are certain she is a scammer, you should save your revenge for someone who deserves it.  She already turned down your offer to take her shopping.  If she doesn't read or write the language in which you are writing, it is not unreasonable for her to feel the need to have her (and your) letters translated.  It is not so easy to get an intelligible translation from software--I tried this with a couple of ladies I wrote, and they asked me to please stop, as what I sent made little sense.  If this lady is genuine and you keep teasing her, you are going to end up insulting her or hurting her feelings.  I haven't dealt with an agency that restricts communication so I don't really know, but isn't there SOME way to get her phone number or email address so you can communicate with her directly?

Vaughn, Doc is right I am so used to cold winters. lol There are many reasons why I want to wait for next summer. First I make a very good income so it is not about that. I am on a list to be operated since six months now. My doctor says it should be done somewhere between now and this winter. Nothing too bad but it must be done. Then I am also training like crazy to lower my body fat. As I have said previously I am doing bodybuilding since a little more than a year now. I should be at a competition body fat level when I will go. I know I am crazy about that but if you would talk with any bodybuilder you would understand. Now I am not of the caliber of competition after only a year or so but the transformations in my body are already amazing. Everybody I haven't seen since a year or so are like wow what happened with you? I am proud of this and it would be nice to actually go on one of the Black sea shores if I go to Ukraine. I know it will sound superficial to many of you but well this is what I want to do. For me it is important that my woman will be proud to walk at my arm while going out... and I can tell you they already are.

Actually I did think about going to the Dominican Republic this winter if my operation is done and fly a woman there to join me... but really this is the worst idea I could do. What if she doesn't come or she comes and there's zero connection when we meet? So I will simply wait for this summer and if I have to I will wait to contact women only this spring. That's all.

By the way Doc, do you know Les Merceries Francois Cote? His wife is an ukrainian from Donetsk. Her name is Viktoria. She is so nice and everybody I've talked to about her agree. I no longer trust that site anymore and really it aggravates me because the chemistry, everything was there between us. I really like everything about her, except that always present doubt on the back of my mind. I don't want to go further with these doubts, really. Don't you think I am entitled of having this cleared once and for all before going to meet her. All of this because of that site!

As it is said in another thread, there is thousands of women on earth, why you should choose to lose your time and money to check something not worthy ?Something I have learned during this whole process is to not put energy with someone if something does not take a straight road. When I met my wife, all was good from day 1 as it is now. Rules are simple, contact women with whom you can talk on phone or see them with webcam. If you can not have direct contact, forget them.
