        Need to give you fair warning.   I know of 2 instances from a biker site I have frequented since 02, where someone was called out for a brawl at a Waffle House. One of these was in GA the other in PA. In both cases the potential combatants actually met and after breakfast together,became (sort of) friends.
            If you ain't lookin for a new ( sorta) friend,don't be calling me out to no Waffle House.

              PS.   Something that is missing from this site is get-togethers.  On the bike site things have evolved to the point of having get-togethers/rallies in different parts of the country at different parts of the year.    I've been to 8 rallies since 2002 ,all in NC .  6 in Asheville and 2 in Maggie Valley.  My wife has been to one in Asheville and one in Maggie Valley.She met with about 60 of my "friends" and had a good time and logged about 3400 miles on her first (2 week)bike trip.
               Through these rallies I've met about 250 members of the site from all over North America as well as Ireland ,Wales ,Germany,Iceland.   It is good fun ,but,it also helps with dealing with posts on the site as you can put an actual face and even a personality to the post.  Misunderstandings are less frequent when you actually know someone personally. And the arguments ,even when they get heated ,resolve on better terms ,sooner.  
                  With the bikes we just need an area of interesting roads to ride.  With a group such as this ,attractions to visit would probably serve better. In both cases an area has to be available  at the end of the day for a large group to gather to have a couple (or so)beers,smoke and yak-yak till (sometimes) the sun comes up.
                 I'm more of a "let me know when and where and I'll try to be there" kind of person.  Any "planners" amongst us?  Plan it and they will come.

I've held a few get togethers back home and in Moscow and have met quite a few people who've been members here at some point. There's a guy in San Francisco who used to set up yearly events and I know there are many others here who've met in person.

A cruise would be wonderful... but it is a "big thing" in the sense of time and money.  Maybe something smaller and simpler.  But I agree with the goal (bolded part).

Great...!! So we have a "Russian Woman" rally, lessay in Eastern Tennessee (Dunno why I'd think of there) and we trot 'em all out for inspection. "Geez Apple yours looks alright, can I have a ride?".

Apple & Seeker I also agree please start a thread and lets see where it goes.  I have lived in Valle Crucis NC, just outside of Boone for a summer & winter back in the early eighties. The area is very beautiful especially on a bike.
I know Olga would love tooling through this very historical part of America.

Eastern Tennessee though is actually a very good place for something like this.Pigeon Forge with DollyWood.  Wife enjoyed it this past summer.  Plenty to do in Gatlinburg,wife enjoyed the Aquarium in summer of '08.  Then you have Hwy 441 running thru the Smokey Mountain Nat'l Park  ,very scenic ride.Cades Cove can be gotten to from  441 as well.  At the end of 441 you arrive in Cherokee NC.   Attractions here as well including a casino for those that enjoy them.   

And between the plastic world of Cherokee and Pigeon Forge are some magnificent hiking trails. 

When 32-yo I did the 15-mile Mt. LeConte  trail along Grotto Falls and Rainbow Falls (elevation change of 2000 ft to 6593 ft) in less than a day.  That year I also entered the marathon around Cades Cove but soon dropped out when passed by an older female 'walker.'

In 2008 I introduced the Ruskies to the mountains and this time we drove in our SUV around Cades Cove.  Got out to take a close photo of a bear who immediately charged me.  The kids liked that part.

Go soon.  An exotic insect from Europe is killing magnificent old growth hemlocks and firs.  Sad.

You come here last week and in some attempt to be the queen, your comments turn this place into a blood bath. You took several shots at a new poster and I wasn't the one that initially called you out. Your comments were asinine enough that the owner of this site felt compelled enough to write a formal apology to the new poster because he and everyone else here knew it would never come from you although it should have. It's called having a little class. You should spend more time with the little crumb snatcher and a little less time debating the perils of WOVO & WMVM, agencies,scams and whatever else might come the way of this process. Now that's not to say that I dont enjoy and appreciate the opinions expressed by most of our valued female here because I do. I just think you had a golden opportunity to do the right thing and you blew it.
