Tough luck Matty. Sure you can continue your letter writing campaign but that is akin to teaching a pig to sing. It is impossible to do and only annoys the pig. The threat of the British Press is no threat at all. Quite honestly, you have no recourse. You freely sent them your money. As with most things it is "buyer beware". I suggest, if you are earnestly seeking a FSUW to move on and learn from the experience.

Matty, stop wasting energy tilting at windmills. You will most certainly not get any refund at all. Stories like yours just confirm my view that I've expressed in the thread  Agencies and paid websites - what is the benefit?

Just use the free personals websites. Yes, it may take some time to get results, but if you're smart about it you should be fine. So far you've wasted a lot of time AND money. Or just date all the Eastern European hotties from the new EU member countries that I've heard Britain is full of now :)
