But it just goes to show, no matter how anonymous people think their trip reports are, there is always a chance that someone will come along and know exactly who and what is being talked about and not necessarily like it. The world and the net is a very small place these days.

Yeah, that was my first thought when I read blablabla's comment.  And people wonder why I am so secretive about my plans and personal life....   ;D

The latest installment has "credibility" issues IMO but it'll light up the thread traffic....................

It does seem strange, and I am torn between wanting to know more, and at the same time hoping knowing more does not become a big problem.

It is a very confusing situation.   ???

I don't see any credibility. Nada. More like a hit and run assault on JR. The tale behind this likely has nothing to do with JRs meeting. Until "blablabla" introduces herself and her intention, I see no reason to even respond.

I didn't read anything negative that JR wrote about the family so I don't know what Blahblah is writing about and she/he probably doesn't know the family at all.  Could just be trolling.

Possibly... or just a difference of opinion, or confusion over details.  I mean really, does any of this make total sense to any of us bystanders?

So let's try to keep our opinions honest, without insult to others.  It will go faster and smoother that way.   ;D

Edit to add:  And less "Report to Moderator" clicks.

I see how really you are mistaken, I know the people about which you speak. You speak about veterinaries's family, not so it? The K's mum has cured my Dog (terrier) and K helped to her to make operation. JR, why you don't trust to the people? Why do you so strange write? It is so ridiculous, all that you have written!!! Yours comments about Tashkent are disgusting!!! I am a little glad, that you have not met K personally, as maybe you wanted to make love with her but for her family it is not good. As then you go in America and also you will forget about K and find the next girl, am I right? I lived in Tashkent many years back and I know this family and I know the traditions there. But I see and I understand. As far as you yourself mercenary as you mention about some hundreds of dollars. Tell me, how much K should you and personally you??? I will send back to you your dirty money! Also, I can suppose that you have left with presents, am I right? Write and relate about all, what presents have presented for you. I think, that this family has not remained in a duty to you, JR, Will be considerately in the next time, when you will write about the people which you never know!!! Good luck!!!

I respect your desire to come to the rescue of your friends (they are my friends also) but I am afraid you misunderstand what I have written, my intentions, conclusions and desires for the future. The family I met was/is wonderful and treated me great, I have the utmost respect for them.

Let me do this: I will have my posts translated by a professional and forwarded to you via PM. I hope you understand the gravity of this situation. You hold in your hands the ability to destroy the possible future of two people. Please allow me the chance to clear the air.

BlaBlaBla. No credibility will be given to you here until you introduce yourself. Otherwise we will consider you a One Post Wonder(OPW)
We get them here from time to time. I never did read any disrespect in anything JR posted about Tashkent or the girls family.

I think JR said it well.  And in such a way that no ones feelings would be hurt.

I think this is up to him now.

Oy vey, yet another strange twist to an already bizarre tale.
I can just see it now. A month from now JR reports back that
because of blablabla's 1st post to RWD and her further retributions
his relationship with K is 'K'aput!

Just wonder, how the mentality of AM works.RM would just laugh at this tale.
Interesting to know the opinion of RW on this board ???

I can't tell you what a RW thinks, but my UM thinks it's a scam.
After the fall of communism, the biggest mistake Boris Yeltsin's regime made was not to disband the KGB altogether. Instead it changed its name to the FSB and, to many observers, morphed into a gangster organisation, eventually headed by master criminal Vladimir Putin. - Gerard Batten

JR, give that BLAH-BLAH your contact details for money transfer. :P

Too late, he accidentally gave those details to me, and I have already started the money transfer.  Soon he will be broke.

And I think it is best we let JR confront this... if there is any chance someone might be hurt, we should get more facts before we start forming opinions.

There are a lot of people involved here, and we have no idea who we are speaking or responding to.  And this is just strange enough of a situation where I will admit, I am not sure what is really happening.

He will 'clean'', ''wash'', ''brush'' this money and spend it for the next trip  ;D

Think what you want.  Sigh...  It seems so easy to me, perhaps I am wrong... but I think this has gone beyond something we can solve/debate/fix in this thread.  I say for JR's sake, let's give him the chance to deal with this his own way without adding fuel to the fire.

Let it be his choice if this becomes a joke thread.  I don't see that it is yet, so please, you have had your say.  Let it go now.

I don't mean to sound harsh, but I like JR.  And I hope the best for him.

I am just trying to give him the chance, without our interference.

Edit:  Remember, it is a public forum... read by one/both/all sides of the story.  Confusing it with accusations will come back to haunt people, even those that didn't make them.

Depends on the topic... best bet is to start here

http://www.russianwomendiscussion.com/index.php#3

And the find the heading where it is most appropriate.

Click on it, then click "New Topic".

Also it is best to read a few threads in the heading just to be sure you have picked the right place... ;)

You can send me a PM if you need more details.  I will be glad to help in any way I can.

It is a public forum and thus, subject to anyone reading and responding to it with either criticism, ridicule or praise. If you want to end responses to it perhaps you should request to a Mod to lock it? It would appear that blabla hit a nerve. The longer this thread continues  the more response you are liable to get.

JR-

FWIW, I don't see anything in this thread that you authored that is vile. With possibly one exception: posting pics of the folks you met. I'd have the mods/admin get those out of this thread if I were you.

I wanted to PM you and warn you about this before, but I can't...I must be in the doghouse.
