If your definition of relationship is conventional, that is a HUGE number of failures.   Is there a common thread with the failure of so many relationships?

Some example answers:

1.  Each woman realized that with you she would lose more than a little? [parallel with your statement that "...young people are risk takers.... They know that they have little to lose at their age."]

2.  Each went with you on a international trip and you then dumped them?  [parallel with your statement that  "Young women are thrilled by the possibility of international travel.]

3.  They dumped you after one trip?

4.  It was the woman's fault because each disagreed with your opinions?

5.  None met your definition of optimistic?

Also... a very attractive 40-years old Russian woman who has never been married? Hm.... I'd doubt that.

I was thinking the same thing. I can't see this happening either.

You have made so many incorrect, absurd assumptions it is pointless to even respond to them.   :deadhorse:

It is amazing how so many members in this forum jump to conclusions and launching member attacks instead of asking intelligent questions.

They thrive on confrontation and rhetoric instead of objective conversation.

Hold on there! I never said that youth is a defect. What in the world gave you such a ridiculous idea?

You are looking in the mirror instead of reading my words. Before you accuse me of believing youth is a defect you should examine the absence of your own brain activity. You acted on impulse instead of analysis.

What I wrote was based on literlly dozens of observations and contacts, including several relationships I have had with girls in their 20's -- not to mention the 4 such relationships I have had in the past 5 years.

FO

It is you who make such asinine statements and stick your own foot in your throat. Then you can't believe someone might have the unmitigated gall to call you on them. You guy could use a real dose of reality. For example: you have relationships with 4, 20 something women in the last five years? Would you care to elaborate on this or does that stand as you stated?

I'm with Gator, That is a HUGE number of failures in a very short period of time. I'm almost afraid to ask what exactly constitutes a "relationship" with you  :-X

I was thinking the same thing. I can't see this happening either.

First, I don't see why this could not happen.

Second, a woman who is attractive to an American man, may well be plain to a Russian man. Standards of women's beauty in the FSU are higher than in the US. The woman may just be not really attractive by local standards.

Has nothing to do with how attractive she is, more a question of what she will settle for in the hopes of having a child. Even if a woman isn't very attractive by local standards, there will be many men who will be equally not very hot by local standards either and less successful than average as well. I can see a 20-year-old being picky, a 30-year-old who wants to have a child less so. Most women will likely settle at least once in their life.

Yes, this does happen.  Lily, I think of you as one example (and you are attractive by any standard).  Most of the women I dated were 40-something.  Most had been married.  Yet, a significant number had never married.  If you met these "never married RW," they would impress you as intelligent women.  Life unfolds differently for each of us.

I think the OP was asking something about email wait times....

He responds in 24 hours, sometimes she takes days.

She's not as interested (desperate?) as you ;)

She has probably heard it all before and is waiting for you to man up, ie: "show up"

I wouldn't worry about her taking longer than you to respond, I think it's normal.

Based upon what these two Ruskies are doing in the snow the color in question might be yellow ;)

Those two men fell down also, for the same reasons...I have never understood why it is so desirable to lose control of oneself in such a way.

It is not a sudden event.  They probably had a lot of fun getting to that point.  So much fun that they overdid it.

No, the truth is that, compared to other sites that discuss Russian women, there are A LOT of rude members constantly in attack mode on this website. The lack of civility is not present  elsewhere. It amazes me to no end how many negative the posts there are in this forum.

Not only that, certain members, such as yourself Faux Pas, visit the other sites and write similar crude posts. Fortunately, on other sites demeaning, rude posts are often defused.

You should be ashamed of your arrogance and mistreatment of members. Every post from you is an attempt to attack, discredit, or emotionally harm in some way. Unfortunately for you, that childish behavior is not going to work with me.

I will not revisit this thread so don't waste your time repling. Your narrow opinion is of absolutely no value to me. If you want the last word because you cannot handle the truth, then you are welcome to it. Your words will be wasted.

I know FP is a grown man and very capable of defending himself but,...

Doesn't the above rant sound as an arrogant personal attack?

Crude?

Rude?

Lack of English grammar?

Somehow I'm sure you're going to be reading this anyway. It really is a shame you can't tell the difference from attack and voicing an opinion. It is a safe bet you don't get out much. I really can't help it and really don't care that you are emotionally frail. If you can't handle the very mild heat on a forum from making the asinine statements you repeatedly make, you don't stand much of a chance in the real world. My sympathies to you sir  :)

Forget about the age thing, Russian women are not like "Western women", they love with their hearts not with their eyes. I had all the same misconceptions too, but went to Russia and met a wonderful girl whom I spent a lot of time talking to before meeting her. The best way I can describe it to western men is: A Russian lady is like an "Smart Phone", If you get one just because it looks good, then your missing the point !!! Try looking deeper into how it works, and the deeper you look the more you realise how complicated and sophisticated it is, and as you discover its hidden beauty the more you love it !!! Its not just for phone calls !!! Maybe I was just lucky, as I am ugly, poor, and much much older than my girl, but it worked for me !!! (And yes my girl is very beautiful) My advice: be honest, sincere and loyal and you will win her heart !!!! Dont treat her like some possesion as Russian Women are not stupid !!!  :)
