No, Ed, we still have different opinion,  because I would take that anti-advertisement video with a half naked chubby chewing guy off youtube and where girls look like being very confused with the situation and not happy at all, but it depends on you what type of client you would like to attract.

Olga, doesn't this remind you of a bunch of Russian babushkas sitting in front of an entrance door to the building, and as each person walks in or out they start the сплетничать "discussion" about how he/she is dressed, what his/her love life is like, how much money he/she makes and on and on. They are like voulchers who have nothing else to do and have no life of their own. Their whole life is - посплетничать.
Funny how internet forums became the new media for those types... Who cares whether a guy is 15 pounds overweight or underweght or what he looks like? Or whether his manners are according to somebody's standart or not? I mean seriously, this video has been there for like 3 years. The first time I registered on RWD there was this big wave of criticism discussion about the video, the guy on the video actually came on the forum but left in disgust a few hours later. It's been 2 years now, I come back here after all that time, go into the chat room and guess what?!!! people in the chat room are still talking about that video?!?!! I feel like I'm in a time warp! I'm having bad enough time struggling with jetlag caused by the 13 hour difference between Irkutsk and Florida and now this? LOL This virtual world can be truly funny sometimes!

Eduard, perhaps that is an indication nothing much changed in the perception here... it might be time to change yours.
It all depends on what you are trying to accomplish. If you are aiming to get clients who think "well if he did it I can do better" you video is perfect. If you are aiming to show the positive side of American-Russian relationships you are missing the mark by a long way.

I just checked out the chat room and was literally attacked by OlgaH and Avis. Apparently they hate my video on youtube, my client who I filmed during our trip to Russia and me personally. OlgaH told me that she actually "read between the lines" of my post that I cheat on my wife! I say WTF is wrong with you, woman? I am just being honest and telling it like it is that: yes, I do look, yes I do admire a beautiful woman when I see one! Yes, I fantasize like any normal human being does (and that includes women too, by the way). And yes, I opengly talk about that. But that's that. I never cheated on my wife! I’ll refrain from anything personal about either of these two, BUT, if I had to put in my two cents simply based on manners and demeanor by watching body language (see photos), it’s very easy to see the girl couldn’t get far enough away from him. Uncomfortable is an understatement.

He OTOH, looked like he immediately stored a banana in his pocket.

And I think it would be good and helpful for Ed to learn the body language too, so next time he can "ease" similar situations.

LOL, Olga! And this shows how "well" both you and GQBlues read body language. Here is what actually happened: the girl you are talking about actually really enjoyed the date and we stayed out till very late that day. But it just happened that John (my client) wasn't really into her, just didn't feel the chemistry plus the fact that she smoked was a turn off for him. She actually called the next morning wanting to get together again and was very upset when I told her that it wasn't going to happen. So you see, your perception can be quite a bit OFF!

PS. All the girls felt slightly uncomfortable being videotaped so that accounts for the behavior that you interpret as something else.

No, Olga, I do not expect you to agree with everything I write. But I do expect you to not accuse me of something I didn't do. Is that your idea of good manners? I would like for you to not criticise a man that you have never met and don't really know, behind his back. He is not here to respond to you so why in the world would you even talk about him? I'm sure that you would be able to find an individual worse by far than John in loooks and manners right where you live within a 100 meter perimeter. Why not just stop him when he is passing by and tell him all that you think of him in his face? At least you'd get a reaction! Gossiping about somebody you don't know, behind his back on the forum is low class IMHO. You accuse him of bad manners so why don't you exhibit some good manners for a change, Olga?

Would it not be proper and likely more appropriate for the man to have told you he isn't interested instead of filming them walking around and going to a restaurant, etc...as if mplying there's some sort of romantic connection to their date?

I'm not trying to be coy (or maybe I am) but you are in fact trying to advertise some sort of dating service by having that video, are you not? By doing so, you are obligating yourself to a certain 'truthfulness' in your advertisement, are you not?

Please Ed, where did I accuse you?   And I don't remember where I criticized you behind your back? I remember you and me had the conversation openly on the board and in the chat room   If I met your client I would not hesitate to watch the video sitting next to him and tell the same things I said here and in the chat.

Sometimes it takes more than one or two dates to figure that out. He had time to sleep on it and told me the next morning that he wasn't really into her. I hope this makes sense to you.

No vigor at all, you video says for itself. Regarding your good job as videographer, honestly 50/50... you have somethings to work on and it is not so bad for home video and you have some potentials

It didn't really answer my question though, Ed. What happened between them after that day you shot the video is contrary to the captioned message that advertises your service called 'GetRussianWife'....not only did not they get married, according to you they didn't even really dated after that video was shot....

So I simply asked, what was the point of keeping the video online? If there was no romantic connection, like the other video about the other woman who went wayside, what's the purpose of the videos?

Let me analogize...

If I shot a commercial showing a man driving a car with the implication anyone can drive a car as beautiful as this but in reality, the car doesn't run, is it really truthful to play that advertisement and give people the impression they can?

Would it not be more appropriate to show a video where two couples actually consumated a union with actual help from you? After all, your company is titled: 'GetRussianWife', not 'TryGettingaRussianWife'.
