Groov,

Congratulations!   Emily has those beautiful. large Russian eyes.  She seems very alert, taking everything in.

I don't know why I missed this in June.  My wonderful Cossack lady was visiting me, yet unread posts should have alerted me.  Oh well.  Thanks for the pics.

Gorgeous photos, Groov.

I wish you, your wife, and Little Groovette the most intense love and happiness in family life... too cool.

I have to also mention that while I know your time is taken with more important responsibilities at the moment, I sincerely miss your impeccable writing style, stellar wit and and candor, and most importantly your level headed input in threads.  So, try not to be so much of a stranger to these parts. :)

Great photos, Groov.

You can tell your wife that in the second one, she looks very much like your wife. :)
After the fall of communism, the biggest mistake Boris Yeltsin's regime made was not to disband the KGB altogether. Instead it changed its name to the FSB and, to many observers, morphed into a gangster organisation, eventually headed by master criminal Vladimir Putin. - Gerard Batten

Och, a sturdy lass she must be, to be weaned on ale ;D.

But be aware of the perils, as aptly described by the Bard of Dundee, William Topaz McGonagall (1825–1902):

The Demon Drink

Oh, thou demon Drink, thou fell destroyer;
Thou curse of society, and its great annoyer.
What hast thou done to society, let me think?
I answer thou hast caused the most of ills, thou demon Drink.

Yes, congratulations.  That is wonderful news and I am glad to hear you found success despite the fact you had a few people who thought it would not happen.  I am also happy that you came back to update us.

You have our best wishes for continued happiness.

Thanks TG.
We are expecting a baby girl and are looking for a name common in Russia and USA. Both of us are ecstatic.
We made some decisions jointly about the child, both of us had no disagreements on these.

- The child's mother tongue would be English. My wife is fluent in English.
- My wife would be a stay at home mom; she tells me that most RW in USA who have small children are stay at home moms.
- Both of us eat only fresh and natural food, no prepared, processed or fast food. We would raise our daughter the same.
- My wife tells me that in Russia babies go out of the house on a stroller very often; where w live you can walk around; we plan to do that or take her to a mall for walks.
- A trip is Russia is planned in about one year to see the grand parents.
- We hope our child would make this world a better place than what she came into; we would give her the tools with good education.
- The best gift you can give a child is a loving relationship between her parents; we hope our relationship will grow even more with years, as is our relationship is very close and in harmony.

Congratulations! Why do you think only English language will be her mother tongue if i may ask!I speak with my son in Russian , of course I am aware that his main language will  be English and it will be his first language, but i expect him to speak Russian with me!:)It is my absolute legal right:)I would like him to communicate with his other grandparents and relatives in Russian.
