Can equal boring....have fun, be light-hearted. Try some humor, jokes don't always translate well but making humorous comments about situations that you are both involved in can bring a smile.

Or do not use any approach and be yourself. Be natural, be who you really are instead of trying to put up an act. You will be surprised how well it works.
