So is what you guys call a Speedo a short, kind of swimming pants, or what? And if so, what's Harry about that?

A speedo is one of those close fitting competition type swim suit.
LOL and I often travel with one, because they dry quite fast and they are light weight. :P

Just bought one of those this winter and I will bring it with me to Crimea. I suppose it will be alright as I'm European, and according to AJ, that's an European thing to do  ;D

:)
Not just according to me?
Ask most any American, they will reply it's a European (or asian) style.
Or competitive diver/swimmers style.(here)

You see Muzh's reaction?
That would be typical on most American beaches to someone in  a speedo, particularly if it was some buddy or American friend of theirs . :)  he would get a load of *ribbing* and laughter, just how it is.

I've lived in Euroland ,or out of the US ,more than half my life ,so to me it's not only a common sight, it's simply another style of swimsuit.
but i do realize that most Americans view speedo's  as a funny style..
and yes mostly a european one?
Go to any resort or beach on the mexican yucatan peninsula ,
and you can quickly pick out the european men (mostly British/Spanish/and Russian)
from the American tourists  simply by swimsuit.
Might seem strange,  but you could do so with likely 90% accuracy if you tried it.
that in itself is a bit funny
 :D

As far as Crimea, you'll fit right in !!
As of course the majority of Ukrainian men or European tourist well be wearing them..

My  swimsuit style  stood out there, as odd,and easy to see the Amerikansky toooorist ,
just as much as a speedo would scream out *european* at the beach on Kentucky lake..

 :D

I tried to slalom ski behind that jet ski....NO WAY!
Wife though it was funny though.

Natural,
Don't eat the cheborech from the "gatekjøken" on the beach, you can't trust how old the meat will be!!

This has been a good thread..

Natural, do you have any regrets losing the first girl from Crimea?  She seemed like she was a great gal, you two really connected and then you dropped the bulgaria visit bomb..

I'm really happy for you that you've found someone you're so excited to meet, and even moreso that you've built a strong rapport prior to the meeting.  I think I am probably very much a WMVO... once I find one I am really interested in, I just don't have the personality makeup either to correspond with many and certainly I couldn't get down with visiting many... I respect those who can, just for me, I couldn't do it.

More on this in a bit, need to run, but was curious about your thoughts today regarding the first girl.

Dam you, made me scroll up and double check for AJ in a speedo, but there isn't any  >:( :'( :'(

Sorry Aloe, it was a typo. I meant to say "you were NOT wearing a speedo?"

Well, for what it's worth, I honestly do feel I would be more comfortable the US-style. As far as it goes with briefs, I prefer to use boxers to the shorter ones and ditto if I were going to the beach. Perhaps it's the style of not showing off too much, hehe.

Excellent questions Salty,

Even though the first girl I was in contact with, is a wonderful and genuine girl, I have no regret that I lost her, when I now look back. She was great to talk with, know English very well and was reflected and grown-up, to put it that way. But there were a couple of things that I felt was perfectly natural and she reacted a bit to, that have made me think it could lead to problems down the road. What really pressed the issue and broke it was my stupid contact with the Bulgarian gold digger. She couldn't accept me visiting her AND another woman on the same trip and I understand that perfectly well in hindsight. My present girlfriend has also said the same.

The first one is 38 and the one I'm going to meet now is 31. Both want to have children. Now, I do have to admit, when it comes to this particular situation, that I feel more comfortable developing a relationship with the younger, rather than the older woman, for obvious reasons.

I am of the opinion that there is no such thing as only one right person for you. As I don't know either of them enough, I would say at this juncture that both of them would be very interesting for me. But I have to say that the progression into real personal discussions have gone way further with the second girl, despite her much more limited level of English expresssion.

I have long since moved away from the first Crimean girl, wished her all good luck with her future and she with mine. Now my focus is all on this one sweet little girl and our first  meeting.

But I do find the first girl very classy and attractive. But for me personally, I want a girl like the latter. More spicy, yet attentive and intelligent. She does so much to me you wouldn’t believe. It’s simply fantastic  :D

Muzh, do you say the same things when you see a nice build woman in bikini showing her breast and buttocks calling her assets junk?  ;)

Some men wad up a large sock and place in their speedo to enhance their assets.  But then they must stay out of the water because it can get a little droopy.  Male ballet dancers do the same.
A beautiful woman is pleasant to look at, but it is easier to live with a pleasant acting one.

Why not? Why there is difference between speedos on nice build men and bikinis on nice build women? and what the difference is at least for you?

BTW It seems that in 70s and 80s and even in 50s American men did not mind to wear speedos? What happened?  ;D

It was a bit of off color humor having to do with cut and uncut. I've never known a women that was cut although I understand it is quite popular in Arab countries  :D
