Many times in places like RWD and such, guys often say that women younger than 26 just aren’t ready for marriages. They just simply do not understand much less know what life is all about. The very same men will also universally say that FSUWs who is approaching 30 years of age and single is basically, for lack of a better term, “relationship challenged, quasi-desperate, blah, blah, blah etc…”.

That's a very small window of opportunity for these women, man...LOL!

Personally, I don’t know where these ‘men’ get this information from? I can’t help but wonder if these western men are simply talking out of their hairy arses, no?

She's 18 or over then she's legal. That's pretty much the end of "how young is too young?" as far as I am concerned.  Men have been chasing young flesh since the dawn of porkin'  (generalization of course).

I couldn't get into it because I just don't believe such a relationship has much if any long term potential - and as they say, belief is a high percentage aspect of success.  So, I wouldn't have the right attitude going into it.  But I do wish others the best.

I had heard stories about the "strip show" at those nightclubs/discos in the FSU and I can say it's true. I took Natalia dancing on my first visit. She was all dressed up in her blue dress that's in the first page of this thread. I notice mostly women dancing with men, alone or together while many men stayed on the sidelines and never danced at all. When I wasn't dancing with Natalia and she was alone out there, I notice men trying to dance with her but she'd turn away. I thought it was interesting and I'm not the jealous type anyway. Some guys were too old and some guys were to young to catch anything. I wouldn't doubt some of the men there were still in high school. There were other guys who looked like tourists in their 40's dancing with some hotties, one gal looked like she was 18 or younger. Definitely a mix bag of people there including a 60+ year old man who danced alone most of the night. If you stay at these places early into the morning, you might see a strip show. 3 women and one man performed and surprisingly they got a woman from the audience to be in the show and she went as far as taking as letting the male stripper take her shirt and bra off.

18 is legal and 16 or 17 is legal in some states.  Some guys like younger women.  Usually does take 2 to tango and it's always the girls choice.  Marriage to an 18 year old?  Nobody is putting a gun to her head.  It's her decision to make and his decision.  I think the odds are against the marriage lasting more than a few years---but I could be wrong.  Who knows?  Who really cares?

A friend of mine went through this scenario. He was originally communicating with a woman closer to his age and was using an interpreter. After a couple of letters, the interpreter told him to dump the pig (her words) and instead take her daughter. She was 18 at the time. I'm not saying she sold her daughter. I'm convinced she was trying to take care of her by finding her a good provider. My friend couldn't believe his luck. An 18 yo smokinghotnova! (Definitely hot.) The problem here is/was that she was 18; a.k.a. very inmature. She did love him at the begining and had a son together. The problem was that she never had the male attention in her village like the one she got here in the US. Talking about vultures circling the body. So much temptation, so little time. It also hurt that an older GCG became her "best friend."

This theory fits the evidence pretty well. Billy's situation will be even worse, however. It will only be a matter of time before the vultures start circling AND she discovers the gap between rhetoric and reality.

In my haste I neglected to say that I agree with the following.

....Bottom line, I think the difficulties arise from Billy's inability to even remotely acknowledge the thoughts and opinion of others, but OTOH wishes to dish out wisdom reeking of authority at this very early stage of his relationship with a teenage girl.

A simple 'Hey guys, I hear ya but am going to do what I'm going to do.' would have eradicated about 30 pages of that thread including the posts here.

Of course there is no authority in this venture, only the combined experience/consensus of quite a few that are simply trying to raise the level of Billy's thoughts above his belt-line and at the same time stay below the clouds.

Consider it as a simply jury of peers looking at both the developing situation and notable prior history of the 'defendant'.

All here realize that there is nothing that can be done to prevent this union, but are at least providing interesting discourse and setting themselves up for 'I told you so' a couple years or less down the road.

...and I do hope that everyone understands I am NOT advocating, promoting, or remotely advising anyone to get married, let alone one with age gaps or even one from outside one's borders and culture...

I think the only reasonable way out is to set up a betting pool.. my 20 bucks are in if anyone wants to handle it....

...and I do hate to have to say this, and in this particular subject, if they get married, my 2 cent bet is in that certain reality that he's more likely to have a colonoscopy done way before she earns her graduate diploma. Numbers, regardless how much we take them for granted, will never lie....

All this is nice and dandy, but i think you all forget something: Vast majority of men are horny bastards   I have had tons of 30+, 40+ yr old men chase me ever since i turned 14. They don't care how old a girl is, they are just horny. Granted, back then i was dressing provocatively, but looking in my baby face was enough to tell i was young It never stopped anyone. Half the time i'd hear this: "there is no way that you are 14, with boobs like these!!" lmao. Now that i dress like a normal person, people think i'm 16-17 from my face   And i'm 23.  Have to show my passport if i wanna buy a lottery ticket    So there is no way in hell my face looked older than 14 when i was actually 14. So the truth is (really, you all didn't know?), men are just horny and no numbers are going to stop them. Of course in the US you actually risk jail time, that may be a show stopper for many, but in countries where it is acceptable to sleep with 14 yr olds, like FSU, there is really nothing stopping them.
(Of course it was also partly my fault that the old perverts were chasing me when i was 14, cuz i was going out with older people and dressed provocatively. A normal 14 yr old usually doesn't hang out in places where they would meet a lot of 40 yr olds)
