If you cannot trust a man, then it is pointless for you to search a man online.   Perhaps it is best if you search locally.

I don't meet anyone without knowing her home address.  If I can't, then many others cannot do.   It is because either:

1) they know you do not trust them, or
2) You are hiding at something - for example, you are married or living with your boyfriend
Let's be equal: the OP girl did provide the man with her address, yet he googled it.
Another thing- he said he would send the flowers but actually by this he wanted to check on her.
Did she check on him? No.
"Treat people the way you want to be treated". No?

And check PI to check if this PI to check this PI and to check this PI.. and so on  :D

Difficult to trust which PIs are good without references or record though.
Now listen (are you listening?))))): you can NOT hire PI to check on a person just because you want it. Have you heard of "human rights"?

If he doesn't trust her, then there is no relationships at all.   Or perhaps he had bad experience in the past.

That's awful lots of money!  The air fare from London to Kiev costs around £250 (about $400) !!!
Dear, forget money, it is against the law.

Collecting and spreading confidential information about people without their agreement is illegal in Ukraine.
It is not illegal to ask friends and neighbors about a person, or perform background check:
http://www.detective.com.ua/background-check.htm
Cost is $200 to $700 usually.

You must belong to the category of guys who offer sex without condoms...

I belong to that category!! There's no way I'd ever admit that a part of my body is so ugly that I need to put a bag on it!

Do you have proof that I belong to that category ?

If you think I belong to that category, then you belong to the category of women who have to put plastic bags over the face!!

Uhhh, that's definitely weird and a somewhat deadly I think.. Paper bags are better suited for such purpose.. even two.. you wear one in case hers falls off!  Add a condom and there's a whole bag fest going on...

It''s amazing how we go from talking about what the OP did and how it is not ok, to calling the RW weird.  Dave I respect you and I like what you  being to this board.  You never have had contact with a scammer , gold digger,  or a crazy woman in general, But let's just say that when you got there to meet your lady ( who is now your wife ) that she was long gone and it was all a dirty trick on you.
EVEN Knowing that for sure, would you EVER think of posting her photos , her real name ,  adresss, and alll her personal contact info on the internet?

I think you will say no.
I think most men here will say no.
Yet when It happens, it seems like it's treated as normal behaviour, and to me it is not acceptable.

Sorry if I come across as a little upset.
Of all the yerars I have had Internet access, I have never had a problem, because I play it safe. I don't do risky things, and  I never open a mail that I do not know exactly who it's from , and what it is about. BUT
My mail got hacked this week, and somehow even after changing my passoword 3 times, with the strongest random passes, some how , someone is still messing around in my mail, sending scam letters to my friends and family, saying that I am stranded in some god aweful place with no money and I need them to send $2000 so I can get home.
It's not malware, it's not a backdoor or a trojan, pass sniffer, none of that, my system is sqeaky clean, yet I get up in the morning, and there are 20 - 25 Spam messages sitting there in my Sent mail folder.
So, yeah, I think it is a pretty big deal posting someone's stuff on the net.
I am not sure why the guys here have a probem with Doll. She seems to have her head on straight and tell it like it is.  That to me seems normal.

They ARE weird!  ;D

It's an ongoing joke about compatibility.  Anyone who didn't get that it is a joke is, well, really weird...  8)

Not sure I follow you here.. the personal information seems to have been removed from the thread on the same day it was originally posted. I can recall numerous threads where we removed the personal information.

Yeah, I doubt I'd post anyone's information online.

My comments about not being involved with a scammer or gold digger, or other nefarious critter is just basic common sense. If something doesn't feel right, then get the hell away from it.  I am sure I probably ran across women from those categories because my "something ain't right here" detectors fired off numerous times. I just didn't waste my time and effort with those because I have complete confidence in my instincts, intuition, judgement, etc.  Why second guess, rationalize, make excuses, etc, when the god given self preservation warning system kicks into alarm mode?

I think guys mostly tend to scam themselves...

Well that sucks out loud.  Hope you can get that problem solved rapidly.

Who has a problem with Doll?  I kid around with her a lot because she's cool.  AFAIK, she is well aware that FP and I were both joking with her.

Isn't this a step too far?

Opps! I clicked on the wrong quote.  Some guy suggested actually flying to FSU would solve half the scammng problems.  That's the post I meant to respond to.   :wallbash:

Yes but you best plan it as a genreal European sight seeing vacation, not just to meet someone and be disappointed.
I would definitely stop in Greece, Czech Republic and the U.K. on the way.
As a new member, I've a question about the pictures in the gallery.  I suppose mostly the ones of individual women are people looking to find someone.  Others appear to be FSU couples, historic buildings and cultural sites, and even one of a poor homeless man in Belarus.
I know there are homeless in Russia just like big American cities, but we don't see it in the countryside in the U.S.A
Our homeless usually seem to have emotional/mental problems, although during bad times we get more regular people who are homeless.
I know during the early 1990's a lot of Russian men supposedly died from similar problems, including alcoholism.  The poor man lying alone in a park in Belarus looked to be about 50 and bald.  I could identify with that.  Is the problem with homeless in the cities due to people not having as close groups of friends as in the country side?
There was also a young woman in the gallery.  Olga from Dnepropetrovska.  That's in South West Russia?  Olga was wearing a gold and white wrap and black jacket with sunglasses pushed back on her head.  She looked to be fighting a bout of depression.
Or was it some sort of act?
I remember seeing a Hungarian refugee girl here once.  She had what in the army we call "The Thousand Yard Stare".  Her problems were genuine.
I hope you all over there can look after such people if bad times return.  In my family we are bipolar or depressives.  It's not all a mental handicap.  It can make you very creative, self confident and energetic.  A lot of engineers at work were of this type.
But it has downsides sometimes like alcoholism and major depression.

Then this PI isn't very professional.  Ask him/her for reference before hiring

I like Shadows tag line, "no is not a dog, is how I really look"  I got a laugh out of it.
Is there a way to click on some icon to indicate we liked someones post? :clapping:

By the way Shadow, a tag line I sometimes use is; "The coyote(a small American wolf like animal) senses danger (or here sometimes a scam??) and sinks into the steppe grass.  He can not be seen but he watches and waits."
