Eric, RWD have compiled strategic step-by-step guidance for pilots on flying to RW lonely planets; it has made flying almost routine and populated the skies with aircraft ranging from Warplanes to large Passenger Carriers, from vertical take-off Jets to Helicopters.
Yet, IMO, it can never replace the versatility of the  human brain as it can never fully simulate the complexity of the specific operational environment. So when flying in the mist of RW profiles  combine a piece of wisdom from RWD with your professional pilot's skills - the adroitness of the hand-eye coordination with which pilots exercise control and the intuition that enables  pilots  to sense and circumvent trouble.  ;D

Good luck!

Indeed.

Eric,  It seems that you are a polite, respectful man.  You just have not yet become familiar with the expectations of RW.  I suggest the following guidelines as another introductory read:

Sniper,

I really enjoyed your photos.  Your photos cover practically every mood from a whiskey drinking woman to a nerdy business woman.  Well done indeed.  And thanks for having the confidence to share.

Eric,

The only thing I can say about Miss Anna's photo is that her "all day" lollipop  and panties are color coordinated. :)

Thank You! I was just trying to say that there are different girls out there. I had professional pics, I am young, more or less attractive, I have Masters degree in Linguistics and I wasnt scam) And when I got in touch with my husband, I would have been soooo offended if he asked me to prove I was real or any other thing of that kind. (And by the way I had no skype at that time and no good internet connection) Its just I read stuff here and guys seem to be oversuspicious and concerned  about scam...how it even works if the first(or in top 3 things) guys think when they contact women is if they are real and its not scam...
What if everything is an illusion and nothing exists? In that case, I've definitely overpaid for my carpet.

Say that again, please.

You didn't set off that "something isn't right here" gut instinct in your husband.  True, some guys could be overly paranoid, but, usually where there is smoke there is fire.. for example, you didn't have skype or a good internet connection, but did you also claim to not have a mobile phone? did you come up with excuses not to speak even by phone?  What I am getting at here is that there is usually more than one flag at work -- the "convenient answer for everything" kinds of situations.

Now if a guy is asking every woman he communicates with to send a photo with his name on paper, then he's not only searching on the wrong continent, but probably the wrong species as well.. but that's a different problem...

I had a cell and we were texting each other but I never talked to him at first. Ask why? Cuz I wasnt sure of my English and was worried he d think I am an idiot - and I was a foreign languages department student! So there was as you say some smoke but no fire)
I would be more concerned about those who dont have fake professional pics, who give you their skype, talk to you, who are all nice, not demanding and blah-blah-blah, and who later screws you over just to get the hell out of Russia. But thats different problem.

I think we all have an innate ability to avoid bad people, bad situations, etc... for the most part... I am sure someone could come up with example situations which are "unavoidable".   People get conned because they want to believe - even when their natural defense mechanism is telling them "somethin' ain't quite right here".

That's the point... you either didn't set off his "somethin' ain't quite right here" detector, or, he ultimately wanted to be conned in the face of overwhelming evidence!!  >:D   But that's a different problem...

Yes its true. Main reason is that when we first get into this we are bombarded with the "scam" message - everywhere you go you are smacked in the face with it. It actually takes a fair bit of reading, common sense and experience to get past the scare mongering.

I can see how a guy, perhaps with limited internet experience (pretty much 90% of all people) and little knowledge in international dating can become quite paranoid. We shouldn't hold this against him - its whats being drummed into him on every site he visits - including this one (until you scratch deep enough and you get the real story).

Take this as an example - when you start typing "Russian bride" into Google, see what the first suggestion is... its "Russian bride scam".

My search was going so well, then life intervened... but I'm back!

Sorry if I am a bit late - we are taking it slow here in Thailand ;)

In case OP is still interested to know whether the gal is real or not, yes she is real, but it's highly unlikely she is the one emailing to him. Her name is Kayden Kross.
