Steve...I can only assume you drive poor Nadia nuts!!!!!

Where do you find these links, I laughed my a** off over that one!!!

RVR

We Brits always roll about laughing when you North Americans say 'Spunk' and 'I love your spunk!' - it's such a common word here for semen...

Also guys called 'Randy'. Randy means sexually proactive so when a US guy says 'Hi, I'm Randy', again, we're on the floor......

Keeping on topic I've got some harrowing news. I was reading about the Soviet Nuclear Industry last night, the long and short of it it claimed Nadia's home town is in Siberia (Chelyabinsk). Wiki confirmed it and not only that, it's in Asia! We both though it was West of the Line. Still, means I've actually been to Asia...

Send the Bugger back! I've got one living with me!

They come over here........

Well if I was king of this country I would make a few changes such as if you enter the country illegally and you have children while you are here-too bad everyone goes.  If you are going through the legal process to become a citizen, then your children (under 18) become citizens when you do.

Also the national language would be English, that means all government forms and documents would be in English and you would not be able to take a drivers test in your native language.  In order to get your citizenship you would have to speak and read basic English.

If I moved to another country I would not expect everyone to bend over backwards to accommodate me, they didn't ask me to move there-I chose to move there and I should take the time and effort to learn their language and customs.

Oh well I guess it's a good thing America is a democracy and I'll never run for public office since I'm not good at slinging B.S (although I have cleaned a stable or two in my time):D

Hey RVR  I still got that lamp, shall we use it:D;)

Well I don't know about other countries but I do know about Russia & I'll tell you what, they havn't changed a damn thing to accomodate me. EverythingI have done to start a buisness here, all the forms I need to fill out, all the paperwork that needs to be signed-all in Russian & ain't nobody lookin' to change it for me.

I've had two meetings in Moscow in the past week with Government Officials & everything in Russian. So I gotta respect that & go with the flow. I don't expect them to change Jack for me, I give it my best shot & they respect that, then we get an interpreter, LOL. If I started crap here like the Sieks do in Canada, I'm pretty damn sure they would put me on the next plane back, wether I wanted to go or not.

A few years ago, I was at a rock club in London.  My East Ender friend plays in a metal band over there.  During a converstation, I asked "what are bollocks?" and the girls were laughing hysterically.  My friend said "I'll give you a hint, you got 2 of them".  At the time I honestly didn't know what it meant.  I'd seen British movies at home where the guy in a fit of fustration  would say "oh Bollocks!".  I thought is was a distinctly British way of saying bull or something.  The only time I ever heard an American say that was if he was talking about a Sex Pistols album.  It didn't quite register at the time.  Anyway, the Londoners in my presence were all having fun at this yank's expence.  I really needed a pint that night for embarrasing myself.

Or just permanently relocate you to a reeducation camp somewhere in Siberia;)

Perhaps if you ask nicely they'll let you take your snakeskin boots with you;)

Richard, I'll do you a copy of Dam Busters, fine, fine WW2 film! True story too, dunno if the story is a legendary accross the pond as it is here but the raid was carried about not only by Brtis but Canucks , Assies and Kiwi's and even oone American, Joe McCarthy.

Also this the uncut version, not the several minutes short US version, also shown here on TV the last few times. Do you know what was cut out? Well, I'll tell you!

The Wing Co.'s dog was killed the night before the raid and the dog's name became the code word for a successful breach and used pretty much all the time in the latter part of the film.

Closer? The dog was a Black Labrador. Called Nigger. There, I said it! So they now either cut out completely or badly overdub 'Nigger' with either 'Trigger' or 'Digger'.

No one likes derogatory names but this is history!

Google Dam Busters, Guy Gibson, Lancaster Bomber if you've never heard of this story.

OK Richard, I withdraw my 'Canuck' slight and realise I've infringed your personal liberties and oppressed you by reminding you of your colonial past.

Also I do no wished to be referred to as a 'Limey' since it causes me mental strain when I think of my ancestral brothers who drank lime to combat scurvy whilst at the same time colonising anything that didn't move, and also the anquish of being reminded of my ancestors colonising the world causes me mental trauma as I now have my underpants on my head, a pair of knitting needles up my nose and I can only say 'wibble'.

See you in Court!

Cumbrian's do that! 'Eh', at the end of every sentence, lived near Carlisle for a while. Interestingly, nearby was taken the famous 'Cumbrian Spaceman' photo, very eerie, quite dodgy looking but authentic according to experts.....

I just cannot resist bragging about the generosity of my country. We have proven once again that our kindness & selflessness has united lost families & friends & shown the world that our gernerosity knows no bounds.

I recieved this notice today & I am so proud that I AM CANADIAN!!!
