There are at least two posters who stated his whole story was "fiction" after but a few posts.   I applaud AB for saying he doesn't care, and continuing on.

Every story is told from the perception of the teller.
Boe,
Remember  The Good, the Bad, the Amerikanski?
He continued on....for awhile.

Doll agreed with him. :)

Amerkanski likely would have continued on with his story had he not been banned.  A pity, as he, too, was interesting, but he didn't want to follow the rules he was requested to observe.

I don't find this story unusual or unbelievable.  The same happens here.  Much depends on the pond you fish in.  He is a cute young guy, and probably an extrovert.  Young women are drawn to that, at least, for a night, a week, a month . . .

How attractive would a young man have to be for random young women to stop and stare at him in awe...

Yeah, but Aloe saw through the egotism right away.
Not what I consider a genuine search for a foreign bride and has no business in the Experienced forum in that or this thread.

Misha, the simple answer is go look at my picture, that's the boy it happened to. The best answer is  go away. I still communicate with this girl. Would you like me to ask her why she did it?  Infact, there's another girl on vkontakte right now who did the same  thing to me in a pharmacy. I can ask her too if you'd like

For the rest of you, I don't have a lot of time right now but I'll try and answer some of the questions later

I don't think he was searching for a bride, and this thread does fit in the description of the "Experienced" section.

quick question, how old are you? maybe you can't relate because you're old...? or who knows the reason.

It seems most of the flack come from guys that aren't able to do what I did. I didn't go to Russia for a wife. I always thought they were beautiful but I had the best girl here in america and If I showed you guys a pic you'd be amazed. Honestly with all the festivities and fun I had, going there was probably the biggest mistake of my life.  As I've said OVER & OVER again, I created this thread to share my views on the values and honesty of Russian women.  I'm not saying I could walk around and point to any girl and say " I wan't you, lets go" or girls were following me around as if I were a celebrity. I did however get a ton of attention there, and it was nearly everywhere I went, even from guys at times. 3 taxi drivers refused my fair and when it happened the first time I told this girl alina and she said "even the russian boys love you". I guess its pretty unheard of there.

Glode this message was for you. Interesting you decided to edit. I've been getting a lot of private messages from people stating when threads similar to this pop up, the old disgruntled guys do this and your reply was spot on.

are you pathetic or what? Yes, I'm lying about too. I feel like I'm feeding a troll here. Who said it was because of how I looked?

Not at all in the same vein, but:

Despite taxi drivers in many countries having bad reputation . . . when I was leaving Turkey the last time, I handed the driver a big handful of coins and some extra bills, in addition to the agreed upon fare.

To my surprise he said:  It is too much!! And tried to hand the extra money back to me.

I finally  convinced him I just wanted to get rid of all the coins and small currency before I left the country as it was too much hassle to carry.
A beautiful woman is pleasant to look at, but it is easier to live with a pleasant acting one.

Now THAT happened to me quite often too.  In fact, even more so than AmericanBoy.. in fact, not only would they not take my fare, but when I walked toward the Taxis, they were so utterly awestruck that they sped away without me either! Obviously so mesmerized that they forgot I had not yet entered the car.

Ah...AB, I did not edit.  I am old enough, and experienced enough.  I have had an interesting and quite a unique life, and have a great girl that I met in Russia.  Unlike you, I have never had a need to detail my conquests...especially in a "developing" country, and think I was a "cool guy" because of this.  Want to know my age?  My boxing coach was Tony Zale in Chicago, and we were friends.  That makes me old enough to be your pop, and I still work out every day.  Keep discussing your conquests...just as little boys do!

It has little to do with physical attractiveness, but with energy, joking around, teasing, talking about your lives, etc.

Yes, those Russian taxi drivers just love being being teased by the boys   Have I fallen into some parallel universe? Are we talking about the same Russia?

I have had that happen in Moscow, and I was with my husband at the time.  Can't say we weren't surprised, but he was joking around, teasing the cab driver.

In the end, we had a bottle of Ukrainian vodka that a friend had asked us to bring back, and my husband insisted he take it.

So yeah, if you have the right type of personality, it can happen.

Yes, of course, a young American knowing no Russian will be able to tease all those taxi drivers in Russia who will then decide they don't really need money for gas so they will refuse all payment....

AB, your official invitation lists that you would be in two cities but that doesn't mean a tourist can visit only two as long as you register in a timely fashion at an alternate location, and avoid closed areas. How many cities did you visit?

you sound like a sad boy, I'm trying to figure out why. Here's the convo from me and the girl who I told it to, this proves my story in a sense. Reads from top to bottom and it's near the top where we talk about it. Feeding you is entertaining... what next???

I think Valentina listed Moscow and tyumen because I traveled through those cities. There was one addition city that I cropped out. I didn't do any traveling through russia.
