I am an adventurer, I like traveling and living in other countries, but if I could choose I'd prefer to stay in Russia if I could find a decent man there. It's a lot easier, besides life now is getting better: now we have a lot of things people have in the west: shopping malls, sport centres, clubs, you get used to the size of the condos in a couple of weeks' time, Russians have summer houses, can afford get cars or go abroad for a vacation once or twice per year, you know the rules, speak your own language, eat the food you got used to, have friends and realtives around, people don't think you are rude just because you don't answer their small talks questions, a lot of other cultural things you don't have to get used to, etc. In other words, it's easier for me.

If we decide to have a child we have  a more affordable medical system where you don't have to depend on insurance all the time thinking if it's going to cover the expenses or not, 3 years' maternity leave, free milk cuisine for kids, cheap or free day care, etc.
The theatre tickets are a lot cheaper, when I lived in Russia we went to theOpera house 4-6 times per season, now I do once a year ad the tickets are expensive.

The taxes are lower.

Well that settles it!

As for men who are searching for FSU women who "want to come to America" this is exactly what they will find - women who want to come to America, and the guy is going to be secondary (if that). My experience, for some reason, does not match the citizenship part. As far as I remember, only one guy of those that wrote me emphasized his being US citizen. Nobody else had ever tried to seduce me with citizenship. Are you sure nothing in the girl profile triggers the citizenship offer?
 
Looking for women who want to come to America seems to me as a smart thing to do. If I were looking for love abroad and wanted to bring him home, I would make sure that he has a desire to leave in my country.
You are right people who want to leave their country will adopt quicker. However,  wanting to come to America does NOT equal to the guy being secondary. Locally, I know 6 FSU women, including me. Each of them wanted to live abroad. All of them love their husbands and  adopted quickly to their new lives. 5 of them DO  move on to "bigger and better" things, and their husbands entirely support them in the endeavor. It is in their blood to strive for achievements and look for opportunities.
