I know it will come as a shock to many, but I noticed his comments on sex toys.

I had a conversation with Julia1 about dating, sex customs, etc.  It was awkward talking to a 19 year old about this topic but she is very open and willing to discuss anything.  I asked about the use of sex toys by Ukraine women.  Her response was that she could not ever imaging using one and did not know any women that do.  She then responded with "Why would I need a sex toy, I can call a man any time I need to".  I guess that pretty well sums it up.  I was also curious what methods are used by women for birth control and she responded that women use many methods including the 'pill'.

Doug, you can tell the young woman that sex toys can be very useful in many circumstances.

Regardless if the woman thinks that she can 'call a man any time I need to,' it is simply not true.

It is -50 degrees out with 10 feet of snow, a shortage of petro for autos, a curfew in effect, etc., etc. . . . a man is not available . . .  period.

Sure she can, as George Burns used to say, "I had to handle things myself," but when exhaustion sets in, the battery or electric cord can take over.

And, in the second condition, she indeed has a man in the house or even in her bed.  Using their natural equipment, men are only good for limited events.  But given that women can enjoy virtually unlimited events (which a girl or young woman [or even some mature women] {and certainly most men} doesn't necessarily know about), the 'toy' allows for maximization.

Of course you are right.  Your preaching to the choir in this case.  I didn't feel like continuing the conversation with a 19 year old that is my interpreter/companion rather than my lover.  It was good enough to get her opinions on subjects that I am not comfortable asking anyone else. 

Thanks for opening the this thread.  I don't mind answering questions, it's just that TR's often get cluttered with arguments and irrelevant stuff that makes them difficult reading.

Personally I wouldn't feel comfortable discussing sex toys with a 19 yo girl, but it's just me. I also must say, ML that you are generalising too much in regard to women's sexuality and sexual needs. Just FYI, not all women can go for hours. There are women who don't even want to be touched after just one orgasm, others can have several but can only go for an hour or so. Yet there are women who, as you mentioned, can go for hours... and you are right that a man's equipment might not work for that long... but only if the equipment you are thinking of is what's hanging between your legs. There are many other ways to please a woman if she needs more loving, natural and artificial

Yes, I am well aware of all the equipment attached to the man.  I  use this all also.  But still . . .

The other interesting thing is that the more 'events' the woman experiences during a 'session' (can be an hour, or over several hours with breaks for drinks, etc.) the quicker she becomes AND the more addicted to the 'events' she becomes.  A woman who may have been satisfied with one session a week, now wants it every day or twice or thrice a day.

This is the reason I think it's important for a couple to have sexual relations before they decide to marry. Sexual incompatibility can be a source of frustration and discontent in a marriage. Yet, there are people who believe in "No sex before marriage". I can respect their philosophy and decision but in some cases they may discover serious issues in the bedroom once married.

Yes, I can do my part as well as any man with my standard tools, but I am one of the rare men (and even rarer on this site) who is willing to go far, far beyond this to maximize the woman's pleasure.

I can't say that I am real fond of the varenyky with potatoes or meat.  The meat looks like dog food and why bother with the potatoes?  They have mashed potatoes.  The rest of the versions I really liked and the ones with cherries in them made a nice desert.

I have not seen the food item that Elana left for me one morning in Cherkassy.  It was a tortilla like flat thin pancake and you fill it with some kind of sweet cheese.  The best breakfast yet.  In the underground near my apartment in Kiev there is a little waffle stand.  It's great for when you are not hungry enough to go get a full breakfast.  All kinds or syrup to go with it also.

I agree with you re the varenyky.  I like it as a desert with cherries or peaches inside; but don't care for meat, potatoes or vegies inside.

Ed identified the other as blin (singular) or blini (plural).  This is one of my favorites for breakfast.  I spread Philadelphia cream cheese on it (the honey nut flavor is best), then put on chopped walnuts and pour some more honey, roll it up and go to heaven.  Probably only about 3,000 calories per blin the way I load them up.   

Preparation of a blin is another good test to find the 'correct' woman.   

The good ones can make a blin without benefit of a spatula . . . using only their fingernails to lift and turn the blin.  Don't try this yourself with your stubby fingers and short nails!!
