Degrees are not always telling.  LOL
I once hired an engineer with a Masters in Mathmatics.  He was good at math but could not figure out how to fill out his time card after being shown many times.  LOL

You can choose to ignore the advice you receive on the forum if you wish and keep doing what you are doing.  I understand your analytical mind and tried the same approach you are using (analytical).  I simply advised you that I also tried that approach because it is consistent with how I do most everything else.  Unfortunately, it did not work for me and was not well received by FSU women (or any other women for that matter).

I might suggest that you discuss your approach with a women friend in your community and see what she thinks of the style you are using.  Perhaps that will have more infuence on you than the posts here.

Your posts come accross as having no feelings of romance.  More like being very analytical and mechanical in your thinking.    Good luck with whatever approach you use.

I see a middle ground to be achieved here.

I am quite analytical also, and have received a few barbs from the guys here on this board.

But, I received no complaints from the gals I corresponded with and met with.

That is because, while I was very methodical in planning my search and in my procedures; I did NOT correspond with the gals in a manner that reeked of methodical and inflexible.  In other words, keep the methodical planning behind the scenes.

A questionnaire is not appropriate.  But you can achieve virtually the same thing by throwing in a question or two in each email.  No harm in that, and the gals will do the same. 

One good procedure is to give your own answer to the question first, and then ask the gal what her answer would be.  In that manner, you sound less like a KGB agent and more like a sharing of information person.

I always find it sort of humorous that a couple of British guys (one living in Norway as I recall) frequently criticize we American boys for our grammar, when one of their own has about the worst possible.

Just to tell like Jone said : some can tell you the right words you want to hear but have secret agenda. Others can tell you their naive dreams and in fact can be genuine and adapt themselves to a good man for a true love story.

The bottom line is that any woman will want a caring, good man - AND a decent life with some material things.  It's all about a healthy balance - and finding that other half who is comfortable with a similar balance point.

Nothing to do with Engineers.... it is because I am profoundly DEAF.   Deaf people's grammars aren't as good as normal 'hearing' people.   I did not need grammars for my Mathematics & Statistics degree, nor for my fashion business.

But, my grammars are better than most deaf people, even though I am not good at it.

I do not appreciate him calling me "learning disability" - that's WAY out of line especially to deaf people, or to people with different disability.

Can you translate them into English?  I can, but my father cannot!   In this way, I do not have problems understanding foreigners writing in very broken English.

I can't understand the reason for anyone attacking anyone.  Passion?  Yes!  Attacking, no.  (And I am probably guilty as well.)  Life is too short.  And this is only a forum.  We should enjoy each other's company and learn from our experiences and then go on our way.

Life is too difficult in the real world to not have this be a safe sanctuary for friends.

I think those two forum members need to eat some humble pie and make their apologies .
 
Too many people have a superior attitude on these forums and like to belittle people who have a different way of doing things/viewpoint than them.

Well actually, the childish immature name calling was expected. The temper tantrum is a bit of a surprise but then again given your posts, maybe not. 

CDW, I made that post as an effort to help you and I think to some obscure way it still might. Your advanced mathematics degree and your fashion business might only indicate from your musings here that you may be an idiot savant. Seriously, you've been around here now for quite awhile. You've boasted on multiple relationships in South America in which none have worked out and you found them to be party/materialistic women. Now that's what you are seeking out to weed out in Ukraine. Do you not see the irony here?

There are literally 100's of ways to go about this adventure. Paranoia is the wrong way in. You are setting yourself up for failure. There is plenty of good advice from stages A-Z on communicating, traveling, meeting and developing relationships with women from the FSU all throughout this forum. You are hellbent to fly in the face of all of the advice simply to hold on to a few of your quid. Yes, that is the learning disability and it has nothing to do with your hearing and everything to do with that hollow space between your ears.

You have to judge your success or lack of it with the local women, the SA women and use that information to help you with these FSUW. Maybe it is time to re-evaluate your approach and line of thought. Man up and quit being a crybaby. You are not picking out a puppy or buying a pair of shoes.

have you thought how you are going to communicate to someone with limited English face to face? From what I understand you would not be able to lip read them because lips/tongue/face muscles are moving slightly differently (hence the accent) and how the girls will understand you? (Do you have any idea how clear your speech is?)   Are you going to communicate in writing only?

I went to Colombia on a dating tour.  Many of us couldn't speak Spanish and many of them couldn't speak English.  Me and her have done better than 2 hearing people together.

when I met my ex I could read a detective story without a dictionary/book a hotel/understand about 50% of conversation in a film.
