Why Russian women want to date us

So I am just starting out on this but have been video chatting and emailing with a few Russian /Ukraine women now from EM. One of the topics I often ask about is why they are seeking western men.  I can't understand how such beautiful and well put together women can't find a mate in their country.

What it seems like to me, from their answers and stories, is that Russian men treat them bad, cheat on them, and are alcoholics.   When I think about it, if I lived in the FSU with all those hotties floating around and no job, I would probably just dedicate my life to screwing and drinking too.  Thank god I live in the USA, have been raised with morals to prevent me from enjoying too much, and have a dedicated work ethic that makes me feel bad to even call out sick from work for a day. Lol

I was suspicious at first why all these ladies were interested in plain ol me, but now I'm starting to understand.

That's an enormous assumption.  As you communicate more and get to know more on a deeper level, you'll find that some of them are cool, some are borderline insane, with the personality spectrum filling the gap.  Don't be fooled by photos and hype.  Yes there are some amazing, beautiful, and single FSUW who are searching for a compatible partner for a serious relationship, marriage and family.  There are also some seriously cranially impaired wackadoos inhabiting this wondrous adventureland.

See above re: spectrum of FSUW and apply equally to the men.  Yeah, stereotypes do have origins, but those are wide and dirty brushes creating distortions in the portrait.

I was suspicious at first why all these ladies were interested in plain ol me, but now I'm starting to understand. 

I would continue to be suspicious of women giving solely the reasons above.  Not that their personal, individual experience cannot provide them with anecdotal evidence, but rather that it plays right into the common fallacious hyperbole inherent in the field of dreams propaganda.


Close your eyes to the photos, keep an open mind to individuals, relax, and take your time.

One step further, the American women could make the same statements and, they would be just as true or not.

Be weary of women making those claims. Sure any one of them might've actually had a lazy, drunkard husband that enjoyed smacking them around but then, so can many women the world over. That is a line overused by the agencies, pure hyperbole and the truth be known, it probably attracts the same type man.

Im not saying this about ALL Russian men! But a huge proportion do spend all of their time drinking, getting into trouble, visiting the sauna ( with hookers) finishing work and spending the evening at a bar forgetting about the family.
I fired my Russian partner because of these exact reasons, days when we should of been making plans, he disappeared for the day with some hooker he picked up the night before! By the way he has been in a relationship with the same women for 12 years. But its the Russian way for many. I have seen it, live and socialise with many.
My other half has only ever dated one Russian guy, her friends would never date a Russian guy all for the same reasons. They are happy to live in Russia, providing its not with a Russian guy.

The mentality of many of them is a big factor for many women seeking a foreign guy. Seldom to do with money for genuine women, just tired of Russian bums!

So why then?

They want the same thing you want. There are many available attractive AW, but you are not choosing them. The reason(s) are varied and many. The brass tacks are, there are as many women whack jobs in this endeavor as there are men. For some of those women, and probably a fair amount of them, there are many reasons they don't have a RM and none of them have anything to do with the men.

Exclude women who make that claim? Probably not for that reason alone but, do be weary. It is cause for probe

So why then?

For a multitude of reasons. Every individual differs so reasons can be very subjective. Some may in fact had given up on RMs, some may just have an affinity for foreign men, while some adventure, some because Pluto is no longer a planet, while some are just pulling a wool over your head. Who knows and who cares.


What's important is you not fall into the whole hype. One of the things you need to remember about cheating men is, like how it is elsewhere, there needs to be one woman involved every time a man cheats.


Domestic violence is not an exclusive cultural incident in FSU alone either.


The response and reason you received from the women is, for the most part, equal to the response and reasons WMs give to these women.

First of all you should understand that the women you meet are a very small amount of all the women in the FSU, and the majority does NOT look for a foreign husband. In fact you will be much better off finding a woman who does not believe foreign men are any better as the Russian ones.

Do Russian men drink, use violence and cheat? Yes, but no more than Western men. The difference however may be that the culture in Russia is still more masculine, which makes it less needed to hide the behaviour.

If a Russian man goes out with his friends, they are very likely to drink. And if he comes home at 03:00 with his clothes in disorder, something more may have happened.  A RW might accept it, depending on how the man treats her and how good he is as father for her children. Or she may decide it is time to kick him out and find a better option. However in the FSU women do not find a better option easily, meaning she could try to find a foreigner after a while.

However there are as good as no women telling they are looking for a rich upgrade to their current life....

When dealing with women, believe nothing you hear and only half the things you see. Well......they aren't that bad but you must understand there are good Russian men who can financially take care of a wife and kids but not every Russian woman will find one so they may look outside their country. A reasonable woman would tell you that good Russian men exist.

As others have said, not all FSUM are like this.
But I will admit that I myself heard these same comments from many FSUW.

However, there is one characteristic that I haven't heard mentioned here too much.

This characteristic is, that when a FSUM achieves even a small amount of success in life (probably in salary or some business aspect), his ego becomes enormous and he looks down upon all those around him who did not achieve whatever.

I heard this a few times from FSUW, and Ochka has mentioned this more than once as a feature that really turns her off concerning FSUM. 

She is continually amazed how here in USA there can be a mix of multimillionaires and weekly wage earners at various social functions . . . and one can not discern between the two factions regarding their interactions and treatment of each other.

Even the Russian women who come to this site are very different. 
Know dozens of RW where I live now and they are very different from each other as well. 
You will find many people in the USA and Russia get very jealous of others who are successful.

I have to admit I still find posts like this amusing. Maybe especially lately since the hype and bearers of the hype from time ago had likely been divorced or had marched unto the dimmed lights of purgatory.

I will never forget however one bloke from RWG that was fully subscribed into the whole 'traditional wimmen' hype that he was fully convinced (adamant when challenged) that FSUWs are mostly 'virgins', or save themselves until marriage, unlike any of their western sisters; which according to him, is the only reason why he was searching in Russia.
