Oh, I regard it as a compliment even if it comes from a man who sees his penis only in mirror now because of his fat belly ;D

I really have to wonder what has happened to Dave's new and improved rule enforcement when we have at least one known arsehole throwing personal insults at women.   I didn't think that would have been allowed even in the "bad" old days.

13 websites blocked... and not one of them western media sources.

In December 2010, the White House Office of Management and Budget, the U.S. Library of Congress, the U.S. Air Force, and other government agencies began advising their personnel not to read classified documents available from WikiLeaks and some blocked access to WikiLeaks and other news organizations' websites.[63][64] This action was intended to reduce the exposure of personnel to classified information released by WikiLeaks and published by those news organizations.

On July 3, 2011, two officers of the Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART) Police shot and killed Charles Hill at Civic Center Station in San Francisco.[74] On August 12, 2011, BART shut down cell phone services, including mobile Internet access, for three hours in an effort to limit possible protests against the shooting[75][76] and to keep communications away from protesters at the Civic Center station in San Francisco.[77] The shutdown caught the attention of international media, as well as drawing comparisons to the former Egyptian president Hosni Mubarak in several articles and comments.[78]

Quote
The Department of Defense prohibits its personnel from accessing certain IP addresses.[60] The US military's filtering policy is laid out in a report to Congress entitled "Department of Defense Personnel Access to the Internet".[61]

Best thing to do is write the publisher of the article and tell them the way it is.

Throw in a few more Wiki links and you should be good to go.

Yeah... somehow gotta get past the headlines. The number of websites blocked came from the article you quoted.

ditto the link you posted http://www.politico.com/story/2014/03/russia-ukraine-protests-websites-internet-104171.html

and?what you don't like in my profile? :)

Hi Just me, I like your perspective.   It seems that quite a few of your detractors don't think that it is actually you that is posting, they think it is some fat Russian man.  Why don't you dispel their complaints by posting a new picture here? For example with a newspaper or recent publication...That will at least end that part of the discussion, and give you more credibility.

I remember when Lily first posted here. People doubted her as well. Some of the women here were very mean to her. Not me, I know she was a sweetheart from the get go. I'm pretty sure what I'm looking at here is all woman. LoL,

Latest from BBC news.

Ukraine government says they have been given an ultimatum by Russia that unless their forces on Crimea surrender by 5am local time tomorrow, then military force will be used by Russia.

Looks like war is starting..hope the pro-Russians on here and in Ukraine are happy now.

Putin... the new Hitler.

Yes, please, stop the bloodshed in Crimea and releave us from the heavy boot of Russia))))))))) :D :D :D :D I already have hicups reading you)

Thank you for taking me out of context.  I can selectively put together any phrases you utter and make them look bad as well.

But..... for the first time, you actually listened to the little voice inside you and decided that the propaganda you have been hearing might not be totally true.

You stated that you might not believe that the US is landing private mercenaries into Kyiv.

That is progress.....

I would really like to be proven wrong about you.  It would give me pleasure to do so.  And I will be the first to admit that I was wrong.  Show yourself a patriot and get above the Nazi rumblings.  Stand for your country.  All of it.  If it is only Krim, I understand that.   But if it is for all of Ukraine, then realize that there are people of good intentions on both sides.

I believe Maidan was about corruption, not about Western entreaties and Russian points of view.  I also feel that the government would have come to a compromise position within a few months.  Unfortunately, all this saber rattling by Russia only allows the extremists to stand forth - the people you call Nazis.  It will take many people of good intentions to change what is happening now - before we all go down this path.

So far unconfirmed report even by UA ministry..

The ministry did not immediately confirm the report and there was no immediate comment by the Black Sea Fleet, which has a base in Crimea, where Russian forces are in control

BC,

Thanks for the link..interesting co-incidence on the exact same time of day.

Strange thing is it's being reported as breaking news on the BBC,although they do say no confirmation from Moscow.
