It does not accur because of the stubbornness in Kiev. The solution is really simple.

Absolutely. Agree 100%

The first thing Poroshenko should do is let the people in the Eastern areas proclaiming to be independent republics to have a binding referendum.

Choice A - Do you want to be part of Ukraine?
Choice B - Not

With the understanding that approval of Choice A means immediate removal of foreign nationals from Ukraine who do not have a valid visa. An immediate cease fire and Kyiv government take-over of institutions. Immediate construction of wall (a la Berlin Wall) between Ukraine and Russia. Also a big middle finger salute.

Approval of Choice B means the immediate construction of wall (a la Berlin Wall) and trespassers shot on the spot. Immediate cessation of assistance from Kyiv and residents' forfeiture of Ukrainian citizenship. Of course, those desiring to return to their homeland of Ukraine will do so with a swearing of allegiance to the country they live.

Also, another wall (a la Berlin Wall) should be immediately erected at the border with Crimea. Immediate cessation of any kind of assistance from Kyiv.

Another attempt at dehumanizing. This is what causes the conflict to remain.

LMFAO

How is that different from being labeled as NAZIs and having a civil war amongst brothers?

You are a peach. Really.   :blowkiss:

Believe me that on EU matters I am informed. While there is conflict, no chance just like Turkey will not be admitted while they have not solved the Cyrpus and Kurdic issues. Even if resolved, 15 years is the minimal timeline providing Ukraine manages to perform economic miracles.

Cuba has a better chance of joining the US at this time as Ukraine of joining the EU.

Egg-xactly. That would be perfect for Russia and for the facists in Europe. Meanwhile, Ukraine back to its master with her tail between her legs begging for a truffle.

What a heart!! Magnanimous you are.

 :clapping:

They should do it anyways, with or without a referendum.  It's not like the people still stuck there can vote the way they really might want to.  And don't forget a wall against Crimea as well.

If it includes recognizing Crmea as Russian territiry, it can be solved before New Year.

russia annexed crimea ,and has recognised it so why is it ukraines issue to supply essential services shadow ?

IF russia had of done this legally with an agreed outcome  there would have been a normal transistion of services  between both govs, with an invasion you dont get that unfortunatly

russia cannot have it both ways , crimea is yours and you are responsible for it  or its ukraines and they are ,

Cutting the power for several days is completely understandable. In the suburbs of Odessa power is currently being cut twice a day, every day in two hour blocks due to the shortages. They should cut all services to Crimea if you ask me.
