The pro-Russian separatists are claiming the explosion in Donetsk was a chemical plant being hit by a missile from Ukrainian forces.
Just saying it like it is.

Washington Was Behind Ukraine Coup: Obama admits that US “Brokered a Deal” in Support of “Regime Change”
US President Barack Obama revealed the United States’ involvement in the Ukrainian crisis from its outset and admitted that the United States “had brokered a deal to transition power in Ukraine.”

US President Barack Obama’s recent interview with CNN’s Fareed Zakiria reveals the United States’ involvement in the Ukrainian crisis from its outset and that the country worked directly with Ukrainian right-wing fascist groups, experts told Sputnik.

On Sunday, in his interview with CNN, Obama admitted that the United States “had brokered a deal to transition power in Ukraine.”

“Obama’s statement is reiterating something that the world public opinion already knew — the US was involved in the coup of [ex-Ukrainian President] Viktor Yanukovych from the start. History shows us that the US has overthrown numerous governments in Latin America, Asia and Africa and replaced them with leaders that ruled with a fascist ideology that proved useful for Washington’s geopolitical interests,” independent researcher and writer Timothy Alexander Guzman told Sputnik.

Global Research is full of conspiracy theory nonsense: 9-11 was an inside job; the Boston bombings were a false flag attack etc.  You'll have to provide better sources than GR and RT.  Here's what Rational wikki has to say about Global Research:
Quote
the site has a strong undercurrent of reality warping throughout its pages, especially in relation to taking its news from sources such as Russia Today[/size]..... In the 2014 Ukrainian crisis the site is taking the standard "anti-globalisation" stance against the Western side and falling into the ranks of imperial Russian propaganda instead.

Now- слава независимой Украине. То есть- сала

This is your feeling about Ukrainians?  Including for soldiers dying for the independence of their country at the hands of their foreign neighbours, who fomented the violence?
After the fall of communism, the biggest mistake Boris Yeltsin's regime made was not to disband the KGB altogether. Instead it changed its name to the FSB and, to many observers, morphed into a gangster organisation, eventually headed by master criminal Vladimir Putin. - Gerard Batten

The Americans have never denied brokering the power transition.  The EU was involved as well.  Both the US ambassador and EU representatives were on Maidan during those days providing support.

That does not mean they instigated Maidan.

No, I love Ukraine and Ukrainians- the is my sarcasm for you, Mendy and other board members.
All this Orange revolution was staged by the US and only a complete idiot doesn't admit it.
So how about sovereign Ukraine?
SALO part is correct though
Same happened to Serbia, same happened to Greece , etc.

What is so funny is that every country, including Russia, indicated that they had brokered the power transition.  At that time, Russia still felt that it could control the elections as they were not scheduled for another 8-9 months.  Russia did not take exception until the Rada decided to up the elections to the May date and Russia felt it had lost control.

We are not talking about the Orange Revolution.  Maidan was not "staged" by the US.  It was staged by Ukrainians, initially, by Ukrainian oligarchs.

Serbian aggression in Bosnia and Kosovo, similarly, was not instigated by the US.  The US also was not behind the Greek economic collapse.  The US believes EU conditions on Greece are too onerous, but stays out of it, as it is not a US issue.

With enough money, Russia could have had a dramatic effect on those elections.  But Putin's way is destructive, not constructive.

Sure.

You don't have to believe it.  Prove it.  Until then, it is just another whacko conspiracy theory.

BTW there is no "up side" to the US for Maidan.

Doll, while I have made it known I always thought the US had it's hands in this affair, I have to say that Obama's comments were more than likely talking about after Maiden had already started.  As to how much the US was involved, we will probably never know.

I suspect not at all.  There was no "up side" to the US, politically.  That is something the Russians can not explain away.

Yeah, I think we disagreed on this in quite a few threads.   ;D   With that said, I can see why the oligarchs wanted to push Maidan.

What are WE doing?  Why were we 'brokering' leadership changes in Ukraine, before Yanukovich's departure ?  We KNEW this would be a major problem with Russia.  This was/is NOT our business.  Obama admitting to US involvement, doesn't exclude the possibility we were involved earlier...if anything it makes me more suspicious.
