This photo of a 21 year old Russian soldier makes me sad...such a young life to be lost, and what for?

All for the ego of a ruthless dictator.  I recently read of an opposition journalist who stated that these young men are not dying for Russia, they are dying for Putin.  Tragic.

Contrary to the viewpoint of fathertime, US and other Western weapons will not increase these deaths in the long run.  It's proven time and time again throughout history that a very good defense can save lives.

You are correct, nothing happening in Ukraine is funny.  You can defend your values anytime you want.  You do not need to wait to be called up.  You can go to Ukraine and serve those values right now.

ft is arguing for total apeasement ,however  given the US signed the budapest agreement after convincing ukraine it should remove its nuclear arsenal , there is a moral obligation to help ukraine defend itself i believe by the US as well as the UK ,

if a war  was to ensue it would be all in ,

lol  Now, we are getting somewhere.  FT was correct, you and others like 'fight for me or be a coward" AC want others to fight the fight while you sit back and say you are willing to do what needs to be done.  Yet you won't do anything until you are "called up" to fight.
