Men/boys generally seek virgins to marry because of their own insecurities.

 we seek them because we were brought up in that environment, where our mothers preach that we should marry one if we want to be happy. i been on and off the idea for a number of years, sometimes i really don't care, doesn't make a difference. Now i am back to not caring that much.

Really the deception part is the poison.  If a man wants to go get sex, there are outlets full of ladies for that purpose.


  I'd say for some guys they just don't know for sure where they are at, and their intentions can change in a heartbeat if that right lady shows up.

Maybe it's time to question your environment. I wasn't singling you out and I am being truthful when I post what I did. The idea that you need to marry a virgin yet not be a virgin yourself is very sexist, so misogynist, outdated and down right wrong, it's comedic. Think about it. You can have all the experience you think you want but, she can have none? That doesn't make her worth very much if she is to marry you a man-whore does it? Why should she save herself only to marry you? Why would you want to marry a woman worth so little?

DK, if you want to have a loving, fulfilling relationship IMHO, marry your equal, a partner, someone to share life and love with rather than a subservient and someone to wash your shirts. You do have a lot of growing up yet to do. 'm not saying this to degrade or demean you or your opinion. I say this as sage advice from a near old man to a young whipper snapper about to embark on an amazing life if he don't manage to screw himself over with close minded thinking.

Virgins sound nice to a mother but, it's not the mother who has to teach and show them the ropes. As you know it's not all it's cracked up to be. Mother doesn't always know best. In fact for a son reaching a certain age, most mothers know very little.

You summed me up, i still feel like i don't know what i want really. At the moment, i am learning Russian,i want to reach my peak physically, mentally, and financially before i get married. If i do that, i will be in a better position, have more people to choose from, and can be more selective. I hope i do all of that in the next 2 to 5 years, then i can really focus on finding someone that blows me away, and makes me feel very fortunate. if i do it now i will kick myself later for not waiting and rushing.
