In the West back before nightclubs became the thing for the masses they were apparently fighting the more exclusive clientele. However it more recent times a lot of men have apparently been abandoning nightclubs in the West fed up of paying for drinks for women just to boost women's ego and her get free drinks without any return.

In general from what I see the nightclub scene for the general masses has gone downhill in the last decade or so. I haven't been to a nightclub for a long time but from what I see passing by them in my car and online the scene never looks that appetizing in the West nowadays. Back in the 90s everyone had to be well dressed to get into a nightclub - dress shoes, no trainers, a shirt and dress trousers or similar. The females used to usually where nice classy & sexy dresses. Now the sight is something other, the women where uber tight, uber short skirts that finish just beneath the bum or dresses of a similar nature - while short & tight is nice it can get too much so particularly if the girl isn't in peak shape and has even small amounts of fat. Classy is out the window and cheap and tacky has made it's way in. Seriously even if I was younger or at my present age I wouldn't want to bother with those women looking like that these days.

No doubt there are still some more elite private clubs in the West but I've never been that bothered with getting in them as some people are and all this rubbish about who's who and how nobbing it all and all that, that looks to me like some funny kind of game, amusing as it is I am sure.

I have never been in a nightclub in my life I also have been to a bar maybe 3 times in my life with friends.
Recently my 53 year old local married Ukrainian friend wanted to celebrate her birthday in a night club here in Reno at the Atlantis Casino
Apparently when she was 40 and divorced her first American husband she was clubbing a lot and she misses it.
Well our other Ukrainian friend also in her 50s forgot her drivers license and they didn't let us into the night club LOL.
Oh well This same woman always wants to go to the bars and drink but I don't really drink or enjoy bars,
I guess I am boring.

It's certainly the place to avoid in Russia and no doubt Ukraine also. Silly to go if you risk being hauled up and sent to the front. Why risk that for a bit of jigging around on the dancefloor etc just not worth it to end up finding yourself on the front line about to be slaughtered as cannon fodder just a few days later.

Night clubs pretty much always have dance floors and the dance floors are often surrounded by metal fencing or similar where you can stand, drink and look at those in the dance floor and chat to companions leaning on the fencing next to you. That or be one of those dancing. Small amounts of seating might also be present but a lot of clubs avoid a lot of seating as it takes up a lot of space.

Well to be honest a nightclub often isn't a good place to pick up women unless you are above average looks, good socially or both. Possibly if you dress in expensive gear you might gain the interest of women or the interest of muggers lol. Generally most night clubs in the West haven't been real unsafe places to go unless you go to an obviously bad one, and most nights end well enough. However some random bad stuff can go down in a usually infrequent basis.

If you're an everyday dude who isn't so good socially then there is probably only an outside chance of meeting someone. Odds weren't that high in the 90s and looks like they got worse ever since. For women they are probably chasing all the same attractive and/or social guys in the clubs. Those pretty boys etc usually clean up good in clubs and can get laid a lot but will have to use protection to avoid STI's. For everyday dudes a lot of nights out can end up just wandering around drinking without much joy unless willing to settle for the less attractive women, I never was.

Other than that there are the sweet young girls that just go out to dance with their girlie mates. They aren't really serious about being pulled by a guy but might get off in seeing one they like or being observed by a guy who is interested for their ego. However they stick in their group dancing and are usually not really approachable.

Some older people go to clubs even back in the late 90s the odd older person used to turn up. Although it's often a young person's thing I think it's a bit more open to older person now than it used to be but it looks like mostly it will still be the young.

Usually nightclubs are just for fun, dancing, socialising possibly quick hook ups. Only occasionally might a long lasting relationship result but probably that's pretty rare as they aren't often that sort of serious dating venue.

My guess would be that if a club was created exclusively for rich people in the FSU then plenty of FSW would want in lol

you will have a ll kinds of crazy access to women there, that you couldn't even dream of having in the west

casual sex was SUPER COMMON, friends with benefits and their friends to
cats were even sleeping with dogs, it was crazy back then and that all ended with HIV

I went from FEAST to FAMINE in the USA cuz of HIV
and then in the mid 90s I found out that I could meet hot women in Ukraine so freakin easily that I WAS AMAZED
and that Ukrainian women were WAY, WAY better than American women
I was hooked after first contact

I had two really dicey situations when 2 construction worker guys that had worked for me for many years asked me (at different times) how they could go about achieving a gal such as my Ukrainian wife.

Now how can the impossibity of such be told . . . while at the same time keeping a good relationship with these good workers ?

Yes it's a tough question. I would advice them going to smaller Ukranian towns and marrying a woman of their own social class who would appreciate a good hearted, dependable hard working guy who doesn't drink.
And hopefully such women don't watch any of the new instagram videos of what to expect from an american man!

in my former social circle of San Jose, CA guys with advanced engineering degrees were  making 150kl-250k/year this was the salary norm back in the late 90s
you weren't elitny with that amount, only average
which meant you dated average women
but...
in silicon valley cuz of the supply/demand ration, you will date BELOW your level compared to being in some place with better M/F demographics like NYC
