I will make this very simple for you! you said I think this is your statement not Olga's...

Elen,
Olga said that unhappy woman who blames all men in her life is a  narrow-minded.

You said that 99% of those RW who are seaking for husband abroad are narrow-minded.
LEGAL

So What? Is not it so if 99% of them are unhappy women who name "no decent males in Russian"  like a main reason for seaking husband abroad?  ;D

PS One more time "narrow minded" is not MY defenition but Olga's one

Four women in the Russian show "Balzac age..." who are typical Russian women for Elen in my standpoint about these women.

1) Alla Prikhod'ko is an attorney. She had relationships with  swindler-polygamist, with showman who has mental disorder, with prisoner and with her boss because he promised her a career. How the intelligent woman can have such relationships?

2) Sonya is a widow. She  likes rich old men and she has a  conservative  view on sex. From time to time she has love affairs with men who are a little younger than old men,  but she always thinks that a sex can kill  her "spiritual life".

3) Jul'ka is unemployed and sexual active. She has a daughter and she is fastidious about having fast sex with businessmen in their cars.

4) Vera is a divorced women with child. She has a very serious view on a relationships. Her loneliness can be "legitimate" and justified with her very serious view and with her complex of divorced women with child.

It is just my opinion and nothing personal.

Olga.

Well Olga it's your opinion - nothing  more ( if only your name is Anna Shadrina of course  :P) http://fc.gender-ehu.org/sixteen.htm

Anyway situations those women are involved don't seem for like taken from the Moon but from real life - that's a value I think for those who try to find a soulmate in alient  society

Elen,
The problem is you said 99% of  RW who are seaking a husband abroad are narrow-minded. You have insulted 99% of the wives of RWD.

Olga was talking about the narrow-minded women from the Russian show "Balzac age..." not about all women (4 parodies on 4 Russian woman)

 Достал ты меня уже, дорогой

1. Women from show are not parodies - they are rather typical in their behaviour and life situations.

2. Your wife making such difinition insulted rather wide spectrum of such RW

( Truth tell I suspect 1 and 2 go from a fact that she didn't watch that show :D )

3. If you don't like like such defenition applyes to a group  your own  wife belongs then :

a) teach your wife not to make insulting definition to any group of  people
b) don't take such definition you got back too personaly  if your wife is not the same kind
c) I actually don't care any more how you take it Because you bored me to death already

But I'll try for the last time to expalin you how it worke when somebody starts to use "definitions"

1.RW(99% of them)  who are seaking for men abroad ARE lonely
2. RW(99% of them)   who are seaking husbands abroad can't solve this problem of loneliness here in Russia
3. RW (99% of them)  who are seaking for husbands abroad name one of the main reason of such decision  that there are not DECENT males  for them here

So .. according to your wife's definition ( not my one mind you)  they could be called narrow minded

Dear Elen,
Your lack of ability to  have  a conversation and your contumely just show some your immaturity. You act like a child turned upside-down and turned inside out all posts and all words, trying to protect your immaturity.  Your even can not separate reality from   invention of work of art.  And you are again insulting the women who are happy with their foreign husbands and their foreign husbands too.

Olga.

Olga, look at Elen’s post more attentively. She said: Of course life of four not such young (by Russian standards) women is some far from reality (in life conditions meaning) but rather close in describing relationship with various types of Russian males. That is why your words - she can not separate reality from invention of work of art.- are unfair and are misconception. As well I adamantly do not agree with you that Elen is insulting and immature.

From Olga:
It is just an unhappy women' talking about men-bastards and "all men in the World are bastards".

80% FSUW who seek husband abroad explain the main reason for their unhappiness in Russia IS all single FSUM are bastards. Some of the women know they simply deceive. Some of the women who really believe in the myth ARE narrow-minded women. And it was YOU, not Elen who said “the unhappy women who are talking all men are bastards are narrow-minded women. Elen just agreed with you and reminded you that it is the most common myth among women seeking husband abroad.

I am also one of women who are going marry a foreign man BUT I do not find Elen’s words offensive. So as I am one of women who honestly say men there are a lot of decent men in Russia BUT being decent man is not enough to become my husband.  And I’d better prefer to die due to loneliness than to live and to convince myself that a goose is a swan only because he is mine.

VWRW,
I remember what I said
Russian show "Balzac age..." it is just an unhappy women' talking about men-bastards and "all men in the World are bastards".

I was talking about four personages from this show. For me it is not normal when woman  suffering from her loneliness begin to blame all men. The problem of her loneliness is inside her. Let me remind I talk about personages of feature film not about all or 99% of Russian women. It is just my own perception of this TV show.

Somebody reading "War and Peace" will say that Natasha Rostova is ideal of Russian woman but I have my opinion about this.

I will never say that "99% of  RW who are seaking for husband abroad are narrow-minded" because somebody doesn't agree with my opinion about a TV show. There is not any logic.

Olga.

From Elen:
PS BTW the title of the show is   Бальзаковский возраст или все мужики сво.." The last word is not ended for purpose When authors were asked why was it so  the answer was that everybody should end that word like he/she wished according to their own view at a problem Eighter it's сволочи,( like your wife is sure)  or it could be just свободны

What an insightful note!!!
I also have noticed women who are able to catch any man of they find wonderful and who are able to achieve from men whatever they want. They consider all men are free because even wife is not barrier for them.
And women who cannot catch even unattached, unengaged man of they consider wonderful, they say men are bastards…only because the men are impervious for the women’s seductions.

From Olga:
Let me remind I talk about personages of feature film not about all or 99% of Russian women.

Olga, the personages’ attitudes = majority (I believe 80%, each personage = 20%) of Russian women’s attitudes. If you say the personages are narrow-minded women it means at least 80% of Russian women are narrow-minded.

From Legal:
By your statement above my Olga and Russian wives of RWD are a narrow minded women.

Olga, I really do not understand why your husband does not consider that you are one of the 1%. Elen has not said you are one of the 99%. It is your husband’s conclusion. Of course, I know you much less than you husband does…But reading your post I would never say you are one of the 99%

Well I think it all has been said already by VWRW while I was sleeping So I have nothing to add. Except that I don't count like narrow minded any group of women  All females' problems are only because all males are ....  ;D
My post had only an intention to show Olga how bumerang worked  :P

If seriously I know a lot of women who managed to run each time in one more bastard ( well "bastard" means that one who broke a heart of those poor women ) I see nothing wrong with women themselves ( I mean those who I know personaly ) which could explain such a fait  Well I addmit I'm far from Zigmund Freid to find an explanation I just don't  stick labels to minds of such women and beeing a female myself  I take their side.

Ok I'm off from this thread ( I hope) to watch "Desperate wives"  to see what fait waits for women who managed at last to catch one of those  сво ..  males  ;D

Happiness started topic "Moscow's Sex and the City" about the Russian show.
I have my own opinion about this show and about personages of this show but not about all FSU women in this topic.

The original name of Russian  popular TV show is "Balzac Age; Or All Men Are Bastards"
It is my opinion: this show is  a pitiful  likeness of  " Sex and the City"
Sorry  :(
Olga.

It is not some sort of satire to Sex and the city. If it is a satire, I think, it is very crude and silly "workmanship". It is just show that is adapted for Russian average statistical spectator.

Show "Sex and the city" is political correct mass demonstration of broad spectrum of social problems from unisexual love till cancer, AIDS, divorces, new reproductive technology and so on. Russian show "Balzac age..." it is just an unhappy women' talking about men-bastards and "all men in the World are bastards".

Elen,

I would like Russian TV to give more attention to the big social problems in Russia not for womanish waffle.

You like the show "Balzac age..." and jokes about men-bastards I see nothing bad. But I have other interests in my life.
PS nothing personal I just have my own opinion about this Russian show   :)

Olga.

Sorry that my opinion about this Russian show has touched your feelings so deeply.

You like this show I do not like. We have different opinion because we have different individuality. And nothing personal.

Olga

Four women in the Russian show "Balzac age..." who are typical Russian women for Elen in my standpoint about these women.

1) Alla Prikhod'ko is an attorney. She had relationships with  swindler-polygamist, with showman who has mental disorder, with prisoner and with her boss because he promised her a career. How the intelligent woman can have such relationships?

It is just my opinion and nothing personal.

Olga.

You, Girls, like this show and you have your opinion.
I don't like this show and I have my opinion about this show and personages.

You, Girls, think that personages of this show are typical Russian women and it is your opinion.

I think the personages of this show are not typical Russian women and it is my opinion.

For me the topic "Moscow's Sex and the City" is topic about Russian show not topic about all Russian women.

Girls, you can tell me all the bad and good words about me and  my husband and you can even throw your boomerangs at me.

Elen, you can even tell that 99% of RW who are seeking a husband abroad and who are already married  are narrow-minded women and even are a bitch but I will not change my opinion about the Russian show "Balzac age..."

Olga.

PS boomerangs is somethingt what YOU,ve thrown and what RETURNs to you   ;D So telling you something was an attempt to show you that idea but not to change your mind about show

( BTW show IS about Russian women - " in general" , like all talks about FSU who are seaking husbands abroad are "in general" So calm down and don't expect "stones" in your personal diretion If it could be anything then it's only "boomerangs"  :P )
