They have a very large internet cafe.   You will have no trouble getting online.  You do need to be the big winner in the Casino to be able to pay for it though.   I don't remember what it was per minute but to post a long TR DonAz would have to hock one of his Rolex's

I can just imagine all the RWD members sitting in the Internet Cafe at the same time arguing over something online...  ;D

The down side is that if it gets too heated you might cop a mouse in the back of your head!!!

That's why we need Dan there. To keep us all in line!  ;D

Legal,

Do we all need to call Derrick any time soon to confirm what we want? Just let us know, or have him let us know, the time frame for reservations, cabin choice, etc.

Thanks much,
 Ken

That's just cruel and inhumane jb. No one should have to spend two years in a row in that foreign country in Winter!  ;D

You can change or cancel anytime up until October 15 so I just figured why not get the ball rolling.

I've got this picture in my head of a little girl dragging a puppy home. The puppy is fighting for all he's worth to get away and the little girl just keeps pulling him along and is yelling "MOM! Look what followed me home! Can I keep him? Please Mom!?!

Guess who's the puppy here... ;D

Hopefully they won't be completely empty so I can get a "fee" for picking up after you!

P.S. Derrick mentioned that he had given you some "instructions" about bringing this kind of item on board. Please share.

Just booked the suite next to you and Olga for Lena and I.  Derrick said we can open the door between the balconies if we wanted.  I told him that before I do that, I need to meet you first! ;D ( I have no doubts about Olga however)

Maxxum,   Hope she is here and that you can make it.    You probably know you will need more than her just being here.   You will need to have the paperwork far enough along that she can leave the country and re-enter.

Darn, I want to go but it looks like wifey is too worried she'll be penalized in her classes etc.  Plus, she believes her folks will be here again.  We'll have to wait and see and book later if at all  :(

Bruce,
Are you sure about school over that time period?  Holiday break should be in full swing.  Also, if you book it now, with a deposit, you have until 10/15/07 to cancel with full refund.  You might want to rethink it.

I decided to check into the Triumph a little more as I found Carnivals website a little lacking of information.  An independent website rates it 4 stars (out of a possible 5).  The ship is kind of old at 8 years (Derrick told me it was 5 BTW)  In cruising, newer is always better.  The rate that Derrick gave me is the same as can be found elsewhere on the Net too.  I am certainly not trying to knock anything here, just sharing information I have found.  Below is ship information listed on another site regarding the Triumph.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Carnival Triumph

Sister ship to the Carnival Destiny, this megaliner boasts an outdoor entertainment area that's three football fields long. Among its features: several pools, Jacuzzis, a 214-foot spiral waterslide, shaded bars, cafe tables, stages, a dance floor and, of course, plenty of room for sunning. There's a three-level theater for Vegas-style shows and a club that features cabaret acts. Stop in at the Vienna Café for a cappuccino, catch up with your favorite team at the Sports Bar or have an after-dinner drink and cigar at the Oxford Bar. For kids, there's Children's World (an expanded Camp Carnival) and the cavernlike Underground Tokyo video arcade. Dining options include two traditional dining rooms, the bistro-style South Club Restaurant and the poolside 24-hour pizzeria and grill. Sixty percent of this ship's outside cabins have verandas.

Interesting that it was built in 1999 and refurbished in 2000.  Someone must have had a heck of a party in 1999.  I guess it will need refurbishing again in early 2008.

Ken, thanks for the plug but her school starts right up on New Year's day and attendance is important there.  Thanks for the 10/15/07 info though.  Its a shame but between her school and MIL and FIL possibly comming again it looks like a no go.  Maybe in a few years.

Bruce,

We can always get together and do a NY Waterway cruise some Saturday night to compensate! They're actually a lot of fun if there aren't many tourists on board.
