START2...the market you are referring to is Barbashova. Not only is it one of the biggest markets you have seen in Ukraine, it is the largest market in Ukraine and as you probably noticed, people arrive and depart in droves from all over on the train, buses, etc. I was just there a week ago walking around. Monday would not be a good day to visit there, as it is the one day of the week it is closed.

RK,  Yes, that's it. I think it would take several days to see everything. I bought my wife a mid-length leather and fox fur collar winter coat there a few years ago and paid like $450. Similar here in the U.S., easily $2000+. They also have some of the greatest Italian fashions for women that Val just loves. Including those long toe heels you always see. I call them ass kickers. Imagine gettin ones those up your you know what, in the you know where by a disgruntled Ukr./Ru woman. Just don't ever do this... Then again, some of you here my have this re-action.. Anyway, this market is truly impressive.

I think for those here that are planning to meet a kharkiv beauty this summer, and assuming you'll be in country at the right time, it would be a good idea to plan one of your evenings with your gal to join in. You guys can speak english, your dates can speak Ru/Ukr, and you can ditch your interpreters for an evening. Thor, due to some family obligations the best time for me will be sometime near the end of june and first half of july. If it can happen then, cool. If not, then, se la vie. Don't want you to plan this around us, but when you said RWD party, my ears perked up. Great idea. For those in Kyiv, it's only maybe a 5 hour express train ride to Kharkiv. Correct me if I'm wrong about that. Thor, you can probably tell I'm getting excited about returning. Must be spring fever. :couple:For those near Poltava or Sumy, less than that and maybe just 2 or 3 hours by bus or marshrutka.

The express train, which operates twice a day (one AM and one PM departure), is about five hours and fifty minutes (PM depts. 1730, arrives Kharkiv 2320)...I just rode it a couple of weeks ago. Correct about Poltava.. it's about a 2 hr. bus ride on Autolux...did that one also on the way to Boryspil airport from Kharkov. And just over three hours by train from Sumy...did that one too about a year ago.

When I am in Kharkov in May so will I make all the plans and let you know guys. But YES there are several who is interested in this party!!

That's non-sense, Jazzyclassy.  I'm not in the rush at all.  I just go traveling for fun, pleasure and meeting wonderful people.  I am not interested in playing this competitive and greedy game at all.  I don't live with this mentality of scarce by trying to get everything I can before anyone else does.  There are plenty and abundance in this world for everyone.  There will be always Slavic women out there. 

This is a big world!  A nice Boeing 747s, 757s, 767s, 777, Airbus A320, A330 or A340 can take you to anywhere all over the world in just one day and enjoy places for visiting and people to interact with...

I must admit that I know Ukraine the most when it comes to FSU girls, and of course I know Kharkov since I have been there many times. Now in september, October and November is a great time to go to "my" city Kharkov to look for girls. This because now there is a lot of students in the city. They move into Kharkov from all of the surrounding villages. This sumer I meet several men that went to Ukraine in July and where comming in August too. July and especially August is not a good time to go and meet girls in Kharkov and rest of Ukraine because in the summer many peoples goes to vacation or just travel out of the city's to their homevillages or to dacha. But september is a GREAT month to go here...

You know I just started reading this post and by golly, I am totaly speechless. I mean... Wow!  I have been to Unkraine just once (Dnepropretrovsk) and the women were quite simply out of this world.  Put it this way when people say that heaven and hell exists on this planet I can see where that theory comes from   But seriously, although there is much talk of the beauty factor e.g. legs, high heels, mini skirts ets, beneath that whole exterior lies real beauty in my opinion   Who's with me on this one?  The Beatles even sang about Ukraine women in 1 of their songs.  I tell you what, I think I'm heading towards Kharkov sometime soon

P.S. Whats the general feeling towards Dnipro women just out of interest? I mean apart from their obvious good looks and amazing legs
