We don't know each other but this has happened twice to us.  Be prepared for horrible hormonal depression.  Just be supportive each day and when you go to bed at night forget most of what has been said.  Wake up the next morning and do it again.  These things happen for good reason.  The weeks will pass and you will be stronger as a couple.  This was our story. I hope it will be yours. Then try again !!

Scott,I am very sorry and can understand youe wife pretty much. But Leslie right,the things happen for some reason. I ve learned that most of natural abortions happen because of some chromosomal or development defects ,so the organism rejecting it. All what happens-happens for better,always remember that. Again, thanks to everyone for their kind words.  I went through this experience a couple of times with my first wife so it's not quite as traumatic.  The really difficult part about this one was that I could not be there with my wife when she went through this.  She seems to be taking it pretty well and understands that there was a reason why this happened.  When I was practicing medicine I tried to head off a woman's two biggest worries when they had a miscarriage by telling them that 1) it was not her fault and nothing she did caused the miscarriage and 2) It did not mean that she would have problems having children in the future.

With us, we certainly intent to try again.  We'll give it a little while to let her system get back to normal and as healthy as possible.  At my age, I had better get into pretty good shape as well.  It's not easy keeping up with a kidlet even at a young age!
