The very same person on the photo may be born, say, 40 or 25 years ago. The age could be, and is often followed by prejudices that are typically associated with the given age. By asking about the age, we open a certain way for prejudices.

well, I think as soon as people see the person, they are able to tell something about her by reading from her face and posture, to learn at least something about her individuality...

My point is that it depends on the individuality and not on the years of life. The most important thing is how they match with macman. I think they do, at least by appearance...

I work 4 10 hour shifts so i post late most the time. I am 40 years old , well in 4 weeks. I live in california.
It was 24 emails she has sent me by the way i was tired last night and didnt bother to check but i still understand and agree with all of you about falling in love so fast over a few emails and half dozen phone calls.We have been talking for only 3 months and I also beleive the best things in life take time and patients.
The thing that puzzles me is why she backed off comeing to USA and supports meeting in Holland or Russia. I have a sister that lives in Holland and her husband is a airline pilot. My step father is also retired from the airlines so i can fly stand by sometimes or at leat have the oppotunity too. I have told her this also. The other thing that puzzles me is i told her i was going to send the flowers again and she said that was fine and to use the same address. Is it strange that she wouldn't try to change the address if it was phoney? I also told her to be ready to purchase tickets and i would cover her expenses when she met ( after planning all this). Neither of us have any notion that this is going to happen over night. Most of my family has traveled to many parts of the globe and I understand the pleasures and difficulties of travel. Well here are some of the pictures ( the best and most resque pictures i think) what do you think?

Rando, from what you wrote initially, I cannot tell whether she backed off or simply accepted your alternative suggestion. Anyway, going to Holland implies a visa for her (not simple to obtain), therefore she may be just giving you more line, and waiting for the right opportunity to reel you in .

As for her photos, I'd say she looks VERY young, about 20 y.o. Not very realistic to expect her to fall in love with a 40 y.o., IMHO.

I have personally been wary of photos where the subject almost never looked directly into the camera.

From the things you're writing in your initial posts, you really NEED to do some reading here at RWD first. Do your homework now, or greatly increase your chances of heartbreak, lost money and failure. Put in the study time on this subject, and you may find a wonderful woman to spend your life with.

24 emails is a large number.  Even if she is sincere, she is young.  She may say otherwise, but she does not know what she really wants.  And that could easily change after living in your world.

I guarantee you that many RM are chasing her. So why does she want you over her own men?  

Talk to her on the phone - spontaneous conversations are more revealing than a carefully contrived email.  

If this woman has stimulated your interest, there are many, many women in the FSU who would make a wonderful wife for you.  Read and learn.

Lilly - thank you, that was a very kind complement. To answer your question; yes, she is my only prospect at this time.  I tried the WMVM - WFVF at first and I can't seem to keep the emotional furvor of building a relationship with more than one woman.  I actually "prefer" that she know some English - she does not among some other hurdles.

Mir - She just turned 40.  Anything greater than 12 years and I wouldn't have been interested to start anything.

Men should be careful about posting agency photos of a woman, because there are so many lurkers here who could recognize her, and one idiot may try to cause trouble  and write her a bunch of bullocks.  I suggest that a man only use unpublished photos (with her permission).

Hey Thank you Gator, I never thought of that photo being an issue.  We have been communicating for some time.  It didn't take her long to remove her profile, but this photo stays there.  Can I remove it from the post?  I could see AGirls flocking all over the kid already. LOL - But you are also correct, no English is the impedence that can keep the relationship from growing.  This is my first attempt at "no" English.  Maybe my last.
