Stabat Mater dolorosa is a Middle-Age hymn to which G.B. Pergolesi, A. Vivaldi and others added beautiful instrumental accompaniment. Stabat Mater is truely a inspired piece and in someways Pergolesi's story is also inspiring, child prodigy, squandered talent, and death bed redemption.  It has long been one of my favorite works.  I know this is off topic, but I had to comment.

Regarding Kuna's post, I agree completely about giving only moderate credence to the profile.  Who says she wrote it?  I wrote the newest profile for my Moscow woman and it went very well. 

I look for an attractive photo, some key words, and some indication of compatibility.  Evaluate her spirit, values and mentality? I can not determine those after three weeks with a woman, much less from a few contrived words.

Finally, one meeting can destroy 50 letters.  I call and get on an airplane.

jb and Ken C, while I was working on our forms for AOS today and a phone call to the IRS to get transcripts of my past tax returns...Anna was looking over my shoulder....and when she saw the prices of some of the fees and that most of the AOS forms were a repeat of information......I think that I felt a 'tremor'....coming from Anna....I hope that she doesn't start spewing 'lava'

I think all RW are volcanoes, and inactive is the wrong term.  Offend them and you best run or become another Pompei.  They do not attack with lava, that is much too slow.  First comes the blast, with minimal warning.   If that does not kill you, the toxic gas takes your breath away.  Then you are covered in the fallout dust, to be discovered centuries from now (the Pompei photo could be you).

 What makes her "high maintenance"? 

She "looks" high maintenance. Not only did she do a tropical island shoot at a studio, she has her legs spread open in a bikini shot at a beach and at a pool and dressed like a teenager in another photo teasingly taking off one strap as if she's starting to strip. And she wonders why she's attracting all the wrong men?   Either she knows what she's doing and knows what man she's trying to attract or she lacks the intelligence to figure out how to attract a family oriented man and less perverts. Simple, she would do better to find family oriented men with more modest photos.

If I chose to write hundreds of women again and used freepersonals, I would write this woman although she is 8 years older than me. That does not mean I will end up visiting her even though she asks. I give no credence to what is said in a profile and I do not judge photos as much as I do at the forum. I simply write to every woman I was attracted to without reading their profile and what their criteria is in a man. Then I let the correspondence of those interested in me determine who I was to visit and where I was to go. The most polite person I wrote to was a RW who sometimes modeled in Europe, and sometimes in lingere. She wanted me to visit her but she came in second to my fiancee.

I know a lot of people don't like letter writing but it is a tool and if used wisely, it will work, just as phone calls and meetings do.

Sandro's little photo is actually a splendid fresco in the House of Vettii in Pompeii.  This house belonged to one of the wealthiest merchants and includes some outstanding frescoes, such as this one.  This is not a man but the god of procreation - Priapus (the source of the word priapism that Macman used earlier).

This fresco is at the entrance to the house.   Not exactly my type of art for the entrance to my house.  The intent supposedly is to impress those jealous of the Vettii wealth and to ward away those with evil intentions.

Why do I know this?    I was just there with the Cossack, and she was very entertained by this fresco, and read every word of the guide.  My photo of Priapus is below.
