Christian,

Not sure if that is your name or the badge you use to inject your belief system into almost every topic and as such you have shown an aversion to keeping religion and/or your belief system out of your posts here. This is not Russian Women & Christianity Topics Discussion web site.

Perhaps you are new to forums in general so let me give you this little tidbit of information. The quickest way to kill a good topic is to add religion or politics into it.

I am sure that are a few hundred, or more likely thousand, sites where you can go to have a rowsing religious debate. This is not one of them so in that light it would be greatly appreciated if you would please keep your religion to yourself. You don't see me injecting my devil worshiping, virgin sacrificing belief system into every thread now do you? Try to show the same courtesy.

Thanks much!

Dear catzenmouse,

Every woman's profile that I have seen and which I consider has a place for her to identify herself with her belief system.  I personally only consider Christian women by choice - no devil worshippers, twig diviners, virgin sacrifice votive offerings (30 minutes and I'm out of here mentalities), et al.

I'm alluding to our (as human beings) religious nature was in order and hardly can be viewed as the act of a zealot, religious fanatic, impudent, unrulely or impertinent member.  I have not slighted the rules of this forum in the least.  In fact, if you wish to make a little lady unhappy, disregard her own value system and be the poorer for it.

Christian apparently doesnt read up or research anything or anybody here. Catz- it seems to me that he is now lecturing you on how to live your life.

Sounds like thinly disguised zealotry at its finest.

As he reads the profile and makes much of the general profile question for religion, he doesnt seem to understand what "Christian" means in the context of the question.

I wonder if he stands in front of courthouses passing out brochures in his spare time.

One thing for sure, his religious comments are usually not within the thread topics where he posts.

Looks like another candidate for ignore because he is harmless in his postings thus far as there is nothing toxic in his natterings.

Dear Christian,

I can see that you are going to continue on with your personal brand of zealotry so instead of wasting any more time doing this  :wallbash: I will simply ignore you the same way I do with others of your ilk. You, IMO, are not worth the virtual ink anymore. Have yourself a wonderful bible thumping life okay?

Dear catzenmouse,

That, of course, is your prerogative.  BTW, I thought Bible thumpers were after calcium deposits?

I can see you are going to continue your own brand of anti religious zealotry. So instead of wasting any more time doing this, I will simply ......

Not taking the argument one way or the other, but I do like to hold up a mirror some days.

Religion is a very personal and sensitive matter, and I would hesitate to tag anyone as a zealot or fanatic. That said, I sometimes see guys who wear their faith on their sleeves looking for FSU women and I have to ask, "wtf? Have you ever spent any time in Russia or Ukraine?"

I dated dozens of FSU women during my search, most identified themselves as Christian (the others were agnostics or athiests), yet I never met one who actively read the Bible or quoted verse or stressed the importance of a "belief system"--all it took for me to past their religion test was to state I wasn't Muslim. That's all. There's a pretty good historical explanation for this, yet some guys will believe what they want, regardless.

Does the "traditional woman" shtick now encompass such widespread hogwash as to promote the idea that RW, in general, put more emphasis on faith and religion than other women?

IMHO, the US and South America are both riper territories if faith is so important for you in a partner.

Hi Tech,

The POINT is that religion has NO PLACE in this forum. You don't have a single clue about my belief system because I do not spout it out in every post and try to turn each topic towards it. Look at Dan if I may use him as an example. He is a deeply spiritual man (I refrain from the word religious as that has different meanings for different people) and his belief system is an intricate part of who he is yet he does not bring those beliefs and/or other religion based arguments into this posts. Why? Perhaps because they are not relevant to the topic of RW.

I made two simple requests for Mr. Christian to keep his religion out of topics and now I am accused of being anti-religion or maybe even the anti-christ. Perhaps a bit of reading comprehension 101 would have been in order before you tell me to take some of my own medicine.

I agree, being "Christian" means different things to different people in Russia. To most, it simply means that they were baptized at some point. For some, it may mean going to church once or twice a year. Most Russians do not attend Church on a regular basis, let alone follow all the religious teachings of their faith. The exceptions are those who have converted to Protestantism in Russia, as they tend to attend regular church services.

You are right. If I was single and truly looking for a traditional woman, I would find the nearest Pentecostal or Baptist Church in my city. Or I might even look to the Mormons for salvation and a date. However, when it comes to men looking for wives from Russia, I sometimes find that that the "traditional woman" line is a cover. Somewhat like saying that you read Playboy for the insightful articles and never look at those photos.

Gentlemen.
Regardless of your religion of belief system, to judge others on having a different one or to constantly remind people of it has no place here.

The TOS states:

You agree to refrain from posting any ethnic, racial, religious, or political commentary which is not directly related to the theme of this site and/or which may be interpreted by others as being offensive or insulting.

I suggest that you refrain from referring to any religious subject or conviction for the time being.

Mod3,

I feel offended that someone would disparage my beliefs in sacrificial rituals or the fact that I have  a "666" tattoo (or  is it a birthmark?).  I will not mention my other eccentricities in fear of being ridiculed.  It is not fair and not right.

If you think that translit Russian from an online translator can be understood, be happy that it is not.
Religion is valuable and respected if it is in your heart and not in your mouth. Thanks.
