Actually that's a good start, there are many FSUW who also speak German and English, so a common language is a big benefit.   While living in South America I met a nice young married couple, he was Swedish, she was Japanese, neither spoke the other's language, but they both spoke English.  They got along nicely.

Giving this person your phone number is a no-brainer.  Go for it,,, immediately~!

Cool down. She understands that Iam afraid and carefull. She is smart like most RW . She  told  me the problem is that  many Russian men are not smart and with feeling. Therefore, Russian women often search foreign men. Well, I cant say if its true or not but one thing is for sure in many  many cases RW are not the scammers. In many cases russian men use pics and try to cheat people from all over the world. So whats your prob Thomas from ukrain....Iam not good for your busines or what? Be a little gentle with gentle people like me. .....and after all I never came on here to date russian woman...a russian woman (I hope it is a woman ) ask me for a friendship or maybe more. You are driving us crazy here.  You are within a couple of time zones of this woman.  That's nothing,,, like for me, thats  to Los Angles, CA.  Get in your car, or on a plane, and go see her.   Here in America we have excuses,,, it's a long way to go.  You do not have that luxury.  You have to go.  No more BS until you get back from Russia.

I have....a good friend did it for me he ist a PC -freak and he found nothing. Not with her letters or with her Email...nothing in scam lists....

What intrigues me is your intractability.  This can be bad because you will eventually rationalize every red flag as acceptable.  For some unknown reason, you are really smitten by this woman.  You will not give up, and any more discussion here is useless.  

As many are telling you, email her your phone number and play it out.  If it continues well, go see her.  She can take a train to Moscow for less than $50 and meet you there.  

Meanwhile, develop a backup plan for Moscow.  If you started studying RW listed with marriage agencies, you will find hundreds just like her if not better.  A few of these may also wish to meet you.

One thing that should be mentioned, if she calls you it is not a sign that she is not a scammer.  My son wrote to a few scammers from Match.com and one called him several times before she asked for the money to rescue her trip to meet him.

I don't know why you thought my last post was angry.  Not angry but truthful.  Like JB has said quite a few times in this thread, the only way you will find out if she is real is by getting your arse on a plane.  You can line up other dates in case she is not real.  If nothing comes up on google then it will have to be a trip to meet her in her town.


If you are overly worried in being scammed, then you will ruin any chance of a relationship with a sincere woman.  Instead you should just use common sense, read this forum (especially the faq section).  If you don't send any money than you won't be scammed.  If make comments about woman being a scammer than you will kill your chances more than help them.  Honestly, what do you expect as an answer to that question?  You think a real scammer will just say "yes, you got me I am a scammer?"  You can't build a relationship of mistrust.  It doesn't work.


Nothing else to talk about IMO.  Get on a plane if you want to know if she is real.

I have only ran into one German and he was pretty crazy.  I was having dinner with my wife and there was a German man on a date with a Ukrainian woman at the next table. I got up and left the table to use the bathroom and he immediately started to wave my wife to come to him.  He actually stood up to get her attention while she was trying to avoid him.  I tend to look Russian so he must have thought she would just dump me for him since he was a rich foreigner.  Of course he wouldn't look at me when I returned.  I thought it was incredibly rude to my wife and the woman he was with. 


If that is normal behavior than I would have to agree with you JB.
