I agree that not all RW who leave their husbands will have little chance to advance, but for most women a stripper career likely won't lead them far. Reminds me of the guys who work on the rigs: they makes loads of cash, but a lot get into drugs or they spend their money on booze and gambling. Most will end their careers broke. Yes, there is always the exception who will have salted away his earnings, stayed sober and drug-free, but the lifestyle isn't conducive to it.

The point that I was trying to make (and I still adhere to) is that a woman should assess her options before leaving her "old fart." The young studs who were flirting with her when she was single, may evaporate once she is single and looking. Yes, there will be many other "older farts" she can marry, but to leave one for another is not necessarily the solution she was looking for. Finally, it can take time for a RW to find a decent job (yes, there are exceptions) and a woman who is married can be more choosy when it comes to her job. If she doesn't have to worry about paying the rent, she does not have to take any job that comes her way. Once a woman has dumped her old husband and is living on her own, she may not have the option to be quite as particular when it comes to choosing jobs.

   I would never want a woman to stay with me because other options seem bleak. I would want her to stay no matter how great her options because she loves me. Noone is happy with a partner if they stay solely because it's their only choice. Eventually that will lead to depression,resentment or just plain cheating behind his back.

 It depends on how you define prostitution. You and I probably define it the same way. But some women may define sleeping with a husband they don't love or find attractive as a form of prostitution because she needs to be it that situation in order to be her life. She may not view showing her body for money as an act of prostitution, but rather just a means to make money like a regular job.

  I once went to nude beach and could not figure out why European society views nudity as completely normal, while Americans view it as something bad that needs to be kept hush hush. Nudity is great if you are comfortable enough in your skin to flaunt it,it is very different from prostitution.

Well I don't know about the whole running around naked bit, but I was pointing out his obvious virility during his past vacation trip.   I'm not sure how old he is but he's not a young fella and he was looking pretty good.  Better than Sarkozy, even with the electronic alterations they gave the prince of Wine, Cheese and Strikes.

Well, first impressions can be deceiving.

Again, to repeat for the umpteenth time:

All the men flirting with married RW are not likely to marry her if she dumps her husband. Flirting with a married woman is a low-risk endeavor. It does not commit you to anything. You can flirt with her if you have a girlfriend, you can flirt with her if you have a wife. You can flirt with her simply for the sake of flirting. Finding a better partner for life is not the same thing as the cute hunk at the gym flirting with you. The reality is that if you dump your "old fart" you may find somebody immediately, but you could also spend months or years looking for the "better partner for life." Before you do, you will likely meet the usual series of jerks, married men, men who want sex but not marriage, etc.... You may find somebody better, but then again you may end up with worse. 

Also, it is not a question of smart, but one of expectations. If you married a "sugar daddy" then you will have to make some adjustments once you leave him. Some women will succeed with gusto, some will end up working as cashiers in supermarkets (though, there is nothing inherently wrong or unsuccessful about being a cashier). There are no guarantees in life. Being a RW does not guarantee success any more than it guarantees failure. However, it will still be a difficult transition that might last months or years.
