First Trip to Kiev!

I was just in Kiev from July 5th to July 20th.  Went to Brussels and London for several days for work during this period ( I was going to Kharkov to see one girl but found out she was not as serious).  Overall I decided to meet some girls for fun at Kiev Connections and another agency.  Selected 5 girls at Kiev Connections and 6 at another agency (forget name) and actually had 2nd dates with 10 out of 11.  But only saw 3 of them 4 times.  All spoke very good English accept the one girl I only saw one time.

Had good connection with one girl but did not like the fact her previous boyfriend of one year was a very famous / rich basketball player in USA.  Than she also got upset I was seeing her best friend at the same time.  Both girls from Kiev Connections.  This convinced me to change to another agency. Both girls were fun but nothing I would date seriously.  Kiev Connections does have honest women but there not as attractive in my eyes to some other agencies.  But very nice girls who are serious.

Regarding $40 taxi ride some of the girls do live in villages outside Kiev.  Probably could get the taxi ride for $150 Ukraine dollars.  They like the taxi ride if at night so there safe getting home.  I usually pick these girls up with some of my local friends and their girlfriends.

Other agency girls were more my type.  Tall and part time models.  But these girls date a lot as their picky.  and yes USA is not where they want to live.  Want Europe or Kiev.  Which is good for me as in future I will live in Kiev or Europe.  Also want guys comfortable spending money - not foolish but generous.  Meaning 2nd date better be a nice restaurant or well planned romantic date in nature.  To be honest probably easier to date girls in USA than these girls with same appearance.  But I was looking more for fun as love is better to find you than for you to look for it.  I left Kiev with a lot of new friends and one girl really into me.  may come back in a week or two.  But August is bad time to be in Ukraine with everybody on vacation.

 I visited Kiev for a few days last year and met a single mother from Lucky Lovers. I did it as apart of my trip to Europe overall and we are friends still today. I'll be going back sometime soon, maybe March/April. I have a few homies that do programing work and I met another fellow that lives in Kiev while he was out visiting his parents out here in LA. He's American, his wife Ukrainian...

 We'll more than likely hook up when I return.

 African-Americans will do JUST fine in FSU/EE because as my dawg Doc likes to say, we have our own "fan club" anywhere we go...

I see this TR is a few months old, but the last poster kicked it to the top, so I am just reading for the first time.

Well after 18 days, I am finally back home in the USA. I’ll put my observations/experiences in a few sections.
assistants at the office told me that she has been going on several dates each week for over 1 year.

When the assistants say anything bad, you want to steel clear. I have never dealt with an agency, but this seems to make common sense.


Enough cannot be said about the necessity to know some Russian.

I disagree.  I have visited the FSU dozens of times and dated over a hundred women there.  I cannot speak a single sentence in Russian or Ukrainian.  And I do not pantomimes.  I deal only with English speaking business persons and date only such ladies.

 Oh sure you can ask someone for directions as I did several times but all they do is bombard you with more Russian (might be Ukrainian but I could not tell) and that does you no good in terms of getting you towards your destination.

The trick is, you don't just ask anyone for directions.  You look for teenagers.  They, by and large, speak a little English and some great English.  And unlike in USA, teenage girls will stop and answer your questions.

For some reason, the buttons on the phones do not work when you try to push them when you are on a call.

That's because most of the phones there are pulse types.  For interaction you need tone types.
