Sorry, but this is where my opinion parts ways with most everybody else's.

You see, I believe when you are on the "dole" from the taxpayer (collecting a paycheck from the taxpayers or citizens of your country) that person should behave in a matter that does not disgrace his country or his marriage and family.

Example: Bill Clinton and Monica Lewinsky.

Interesting link Olga.  Of course, as in the world over, men (and women) 'cheat', possibly for inherent 'biological' reasons.

But that still doesn't mean that it is expected and condoned as a matter of course, and especially not within the context of a mature loving marriage.  After years as a unmarried 'serial monogamist', I am now deeply in love with, and married to a Russian lady.  I can assure you that should I stray sexually, not only would I ruin my marriage, but would also find little sympathy for my action within my extended family.  That is the European society  I live in.  Indeed, most divorces are probably due to unfaithfulness, which must surely indicate non-acceptance.

If by "unfaithfulness" you mean infidelity, I recall seeing some stats recently that stated that more than 60% of marriages that suffered an infidelity, remained together.

In fact, the chief causes of divorce among domestic marriage run pretty much in parallel with the chief causes of divorce in cross-cultural marriage, found here -- http://www.russianwomendiscussion.com/index.php?topic=8660.msg159964#msg159964. Infidelity was rated pretty low by both sexes.

Interesting thread. Glad I finally got a chance to check it out. To be honest if you are on the public Dole my number one concern is you... do a good job. meaning leave the budget and the country (economy) in better shape than you started. For the 2000 campaign we basically had a I fuck my wife contest. you have al gore tongue wrestling tipper and george bush ass grabbing with his wife. if only gore would have figured out a comeback. maybe get caught by the cops in a fogged up car with tipper or something... he might have won.  ;). Getting a BJ in the oval office is one thing. Ditching your wife for some young hottie while in office is something far far worse in the public's eye I would suspect.

As for the idea of banning halloween and valentine's day. seriously is that the best you can do? Might want to start with McDonalds. That's the best way to invade. Forget the army or even some holiday. Just send in Ronald.

Taxing foreigners who marry russian women. How could you even do it? Get a K1 with your woman. Fly her into ukraine. Then fly her to the USA. Mission Accomplished.  ;D Maybe they could figure something out but a people tax seems like a step backwards.
Reporter: Any comment on the bar incident where it was reported that you threw a man out a window?
Charles Barkley: My only regret was that the bar didn't have a second floor.

The Round Mound of Rebound was later acquitted on all criminal charges.

I agree with you GOB,
To clarify my position on Putin, as an American, it is none of my business to judge the man, especially based on press given either via the internet or TV news. Now, if I was a Russian National, living in Russia, and I hear it from the horses mouth, thats a different story. You give the perfect example with Clinton.

Counselor M. Gary Neuman surveyed 200 cheating and noncheating husbands to get at the real reasons behind men's infidelity.
So much for the myth that for men, cheating is all about physical intimacy: Only 8 percent of men said that physical dissatisfaction was the main factor in their infidelity.

Another Tashkent beauty.

:)

Yes, Mishenka, she is a very beautiful.

I'm glad, Mishenka, that you are not going to stoop to chew the newspaper gossips over. I always consider a man who is inclined to gossips and agitated with it to be a low class man and it doesn't matter where he is from.

Are you restricted by your employer in your off hours behavior?  What business is it of his?

It could be called "perverse" that a country that shocked and feels their families have been corrupted along with morals and ethics over oral sex but have no problem with an administration that lies to the world, creates a totally trumped up war for personal profit, kills 10s of thousands of innocent families and upwards of a million innocents all told, turned torture into the law of the land, spies on 300,000 million Americans and billions world wide, steals two elections and ruined the economy of the world.
What kind of family values is that?? No thanks
I think if Putin can keep us progressing and not be too adversely affected by Bush's Great World Depression, and keeps us out of foreign wars he deserves some free time relaxation, in fact there are probably a million ladies who would volunteer.

If politicians had more mistresses they would be happier and less prone to screw the citizens at large.
