It should serve as a warning: if you play with fire (marrying strangers) you are likely to get burnt.

as Freddie Mercury sang  ;)

In my tangled state of mind
I've been looking back to find
Where I went wrong
Too much love will kill you
If you can't make up your mind
...
You're headed for disaster
'cos you never read the signs
Too much love will kill you
Every time
...
And the pain will make you crazy
You're the victim of your crime
Too much love will kill you
Every time

Now that much of the evidence from Wayne's perspective has been presented, how about a combination of three delusions, the third being she deluded herself?

Yes, I overlooked that one. Ultimately, neither men nor women should rush into marriages until they have spent enough time to truly know the other.

As Leo Tolstoy said: "Happy families are all alike; every unhappy family is unhappy in its own way."

The reason all happy families are alike IMHO is pretty simple: they are based on mutual respect, shared goals and values, lots of communication, and real love (that I will define as caring enough for another person that you put their interests ahead of yours in a relationship where this is reciprocated).

So she said "I do" then started looking for another option.

or she found the "option" being in Russia. And Wayne thinking that he was paying for her trips to her mother, in reality paid for her good time spent with the "option" or "options".  ;)

Oksana is not answering the telephone and not answering Liana's email message
I would like to go to Oksana when she is in Uzbekisatan--but I do not even have the address nor phone number of her Mother.

The first AM that M was involved with was a doctor.  He gave some medicine to M for daughter.  Wife wanted me to email to this doctor to get more of this medicine.  Actually, he sent me about a dozen small free sample bottles and I sent them to wife.

With the second AM, wife wanted me to help him plan the trip to Russia and later, help him with the visa paper work.
What AM are you talking about an who us M?

M is the woman on the right in the photo.  O is on the left.  L is not in the photo because she left Siberia in Dec 2004.  This photo was taken in Apr 2005.

To me, the women look like typical, average looking Russian women.  I can't see any of them winning a beauth contest. They all got involved with older AM.  They all followed the same pattern started by L.

The AM that M is currently involved with is a retired Air Traffic Controller.  He is in his 60's.

It would be interesting to compare the results of all these women after arriving in USA.

This photo is of L with her AM husband taken in Mar 2006.  Their marriage broke up shortly after.  Husband was an Engineer.  Still worked.  I spoke to him on the phone a few times.  He was very busness like and would speak for only a few minutes.  He was not helpful to me at all.  He was completely different from the AM that M was involved with.

L set the example.  The other women are advised by L.  I think they all left Russia by now and are in USA.

What do you make of this?

Wayne,

You may want to remove the two pictures from your posts on this page. I don't think you asked those people if they want they photos flashed on the Internet. Might get you into trouble, not mentioning the ethical side.

Pitbull,
While I respect your position, I think we need to clear this up once and for all. The subject of posting photos has come up often enough, that I have done some research on it, and according to US law which is far more strict than either UA or RF law in this regard, Wayne, or Jack, or anyone else posting photos here or on any other forum as an editorial aid to help illustrate a story absolutely positively does not need to have permission to post any photo they own the copyright to, period. The need for permission is almost invariably linked to commercial use intending to link a person with specific or implied endorsement of a product or service. Editorial use does not require permission except in some very specific circumstances which do not apply here. This can get quite complicated in the commercial realm (once photos are offered for sale) but it's pretty clear cut in this situation.

Here's a pretty good illustration of the principles behind the laws: an excercise

You are correct sir! One further, even in a commercial application, consent of the subject(s) is not required. That judgement on any particular situation may incur cost to reach, if the copyright holder is sued but bottom line is, if you own the picture, it is yours. Most people don't realize how many times per day their pictures are taken. Most of which, they do not have any rights whatsoever to.

Well,

I wonder why Serebro was banned when she posted some members' pictures on another forum to "Illustrate a story".

In any case, I think the pictures of Wayne's wife's girlfriends are very tangential to the whole story. Actually, paint Wayne quite negatively.

Maybe just my feeling, but I thought Americans respect the privacy of others.

Pretty simple, they weren't HER photos - somebody else held the copyright. FWIW I really miss Serebro on this board and wish things had played out differently.

Legal, ethical, whatever..  IMHO posting pictures of others on the www without their permission is at the very least disrespectful.

I agree with you BC and it also shows me the true content of ones character. I remember how Olga and I felt when  a former friend  posted her government documents without our permission or knowledge on the WWW with her family's names and addresses.  Thats just one of the many reasons I don't post that much anymore.

In point of FACT, Serebro was banned for her failure to accept the RWD Terms of Service. There is an explicit requirement that anyone who registers an account here must accept, and agree to abide by, the RWD Terms of Service. It is stated in the registration form everyone is presented when they initiate an account here.

Pretty simple, they weren't HER photos - somebody else held the copyright. FWIW I really miss Serebro on this board and wish things had played out differently.

Serebro's actions to steal the photos, including those of my wife and 4-year-old daughter and posting them elsewhere for the sole purpose of ridicule, has resulted in her being one of the handful of people that will never be allowed to return to RWD.

After looking at the picture you posted Wayne, IMHO, I would have to say that this man had a wife WAY out of his league.

I think AM can "trade up" when they look for a future wife in any of the FSU countries, but IMHO this was too much of a trade up!

Just my 2 cents.

BTW, thanks for the pictures Wayne, particularly this one. It helps to explain a lot of your story to me.

There is a vast difference between posting a photo you have take with your camera of other people , and posting documents that others have given you.

Also choosing photos that you post can show ethics, I.E. choosing a photo of something embarrassing to some one, vs just a very normal person photo.

I think some of the idea of not being able to post photos with out someones permission is nothing but political correctness run a muck.

Dan per my memory you banned Serebro because she said ,paraphrase (take your TOS and put it where the sun does not shine, I will do what I wish). This reason I would agree with, but now you state differently?

Well, that is your point of view. I would, of course, disagree. What you are implying is that stealing (thievery) is not as bad as simplicity, and that presumably that stealing from the simple is justified if taken to the extreme.

What the saying is implying is some actions need to be thought over.
