Do the ladies really read the profiles of men?

One of the problems with ladies profiles, is that many of them will use some older photos (to look a bit younger), and will hedge a bit on their age, especially those who are a bit older. No real poblem with this, but you really need to ask for recent photos before writing in earnest. There can be some differences in appearance in a photo taken 5 years ago and one now. Again, especially if the woman is in her late 30's, 40's or more. Send some small bouquet of flowers and ask for a photo of the woman receiving them. works well.

I simply wrote in my profiles that I did not want to correspond with any lady that had not read it because I had posted some very specific information.  I asked the ladies to mention in their first letter that they had read my profile.  No mention.. no response..

Also.. this was a weird thing.. when I had a profile on NatashaClub (waste of time scam site) I wrote that I would not consider a woman with children.  Immediately afterwards I was bombarded with intro letters from women with children.. go figure..

I just thought it was odd that I specified no children and got every single mother in Russia writing me.. btw, did i mention that NatashaClub and all the 1st International variations are a scam?

Very few women in Ukraine who are good looking do not smoke or drink several on agency sites.  Agencies know guys do not like smoke and drink so they make the girls profiles say that.  How many girls of the 30,000 women on Ukraine agency listings say their a chain smoker and drink cognac like water.  In reality Ukraine women smoke and drink.  Reading profiles is a waste of time.  You will not know until face to face meeting and when living together.  A girl can hid smoke if you meet her for a week.

Personally I like a women who can drink heavy once in awhile.  Smoke cigarettes no.  But Hookah I like and that is like 20 cigarettes each time you smoke it. 

Women under 35 do not read profiles unless desperate.  Their to busy with their lives.  Groove also has a very good point (see several posts down). 

i don't know about all women, but i definitely carefully read every single guy's profile that i was considering writing to. Sometimes when i was browsing random profiles, i wouldn't normally write to a guy based on his looks, but his profile touched a string or just was very interesting and i wrote them. But yeah, usually when you look through profiles, it's the photos that catch your eye. Oh and for god sakes don't post photos of yourself in borrowed ferraris/yachts or anything that might imply you lead a luxurious lifestyle, unless you really do and don't mind risking meeting a golddigger.
By the way, a guy i was talking to told me, when he had his real occupation listed in his profile, he would get 1 letter a week. When he changed his occupation to CEO (to see what happens), he started getting several letters a day. Word "businessman" if you put it in your profile, probably sounds like money to many girls. You can call yourself a businessman if you sell socks on a street abroad, but in Russia, you have to have some kind of serious business to use that word. So maybe better not mention it in profile.
As for russian profiles, i really hated the ones completely done in russian, i never wrote to them because it's a 100% product of somebody else's imagination and style. It has nothing or close to nothing of how the man expresses himself, i wanna read the original to see those things. But i guess for majority of girls it would be better to read it in russian, just not me.
